I actually did read the game before I read my role PM and came into this believing he was obvtown, so I just ran with that for the rest of the game. I also read HEM as scum though so this isn't me claiming my reads are any good lol

I think there were plenty of things pointing to Furtive scum in this game. His refusal to reeval his read on your slot was a massive sticking point for me.

Then I felt under pressure because it looked like the new guy was lining up to vote me so I didn't really know what to do

Again though, allowing slots like TL and LaRea into endgame is simply criminal.

I realise I had a huge hand in the D2 elim being quick, but like, fuck. It fucks town over in almost every single game and yet policy elims are still so hard to push.

Well the idea behind policy elims is that players will either change what behavior got them elimmed or motivate them to give effort. It’s cool in theory but it is hit or miss in practice. A vacant slot in general is a detriment to the game. Lurking can be tactical but is also readable. Just being absent isn’t readable in any way.

I don't think furtive refused to reeval his read on me, I think it's just that every time he did, he just kept confirming I'm town, and you pushing him on it kept confirming you were scum. I have some theories on why he read me as town, but I'll let him explain if he wants.

And yeah, TL/LeRea should have been flipped over HEM 100%. I was active enough in D2 to kinda negate LeRea, but TL should have been gone. Then you're left with HEM at end game and regardless of his alignment, he'll be more helpful to town than a complete lurker. D1 was kinda crazy with the fake claim though so not sure how that can go differently.

I was so, so sure that Furtive was scum and because of that that RCE was town.

At the end of the day, I read Furtive completely wrong and that lost us the game

I kinda panicked when Koba fake claimed. Just because, obviously as town I would be aware Bell could be fake claiming cop but I let it slide because I was roleblocker. Like fuck Koba just big brained me. THANK GOD it was a backfire. The other mistake was letting Koba have the space to keep talking because they were very close to wiggling out of the elim there.

I didn't know what to say to get him out either. There was no CW to push or anything. Just felt like a horrible situation

Then I got paranoid that I was the only idiot in the game town reading him and saw that I was going to miss deadline due to work and hammered. Mod then posts about an extension which was pretty fucking annoying because there was no way I would have voted him had that extension come earlier
