The mafia Godfather checking the loyalty of his/her followers. The Godfather has called a meeting with his/her lieutenants. The Godfather passes around a box of cigars which just so happens to contain his fortune. All of the lieutenants know about it, and the disloyal ones surely will help themselves...
GAME RULES
One player will be the Godfather. I have implemented a GF queue as of Game 6. The GF will be the next person on that list. Players may join that list at any time. If the list is empty as a game enters sign ups, I will revert back to this setup: (when you /in please indicate if you want to be Godfather, if more than one person wants it, you are welcome to work it out during signups but if you can’t agree by then or feel like leaving it up to chance I will randomly assign it.)
Diamond Heist (Phase 1):
The Godfather starts with the box. The box will have 15 diamonds in it and a varying amount of role chips depending on how many players sign up. I’m aiming for 8-10, but I will take up to 12 if demand exists. (The amount of role chips starting in the box are in the rulebook and will be made public before the game starts).
The Godfather will PM me how many diamonds (0-5) he or she chooses to remove from the box. The box will be passed around (in and order determined at random and will be made public before the start of the game). I will PM the next player on the list the current contents of the box in said order. Players may take either any amount of diamonds (min 1)
or
a role chip. After the first player has made their choice, they may also elect but are not required to
remove a role chip from the game. (They cannot remove diamonds from the game this way). Players will PM me these choices and I will PM the next down the line with the new contents of the box until everyone has had a chance to see the box and take something if able.If nothing is in the box when you receive it, your role is automatically street urchin. (In face to face play you would pretend to take something). The last person to receive the box
may elect to
not take anything from the box and be a street urchin even if there is something left.Interrogation (Phase 2):
The Godfather will receive the box again and know what was left in it after everyone has had a chance to take something/see the box.
The Godfather is now free to interrogate players, who are free to lie or tell the truth, bluff, whatever they feel. At any point the Godfather will indicate (in bold) someone to empty their pockets. Example

and I will reveal what they took. Before I reveal, I will give 24 hours for the cleaner to respond. There should not be any posting in the thread at that time except by the cleaner using their ability. (the ability is described later on in this post) The cleaner my PM me indicating they do not wish to use their ability and I will reveal the contents of the player who emptied their pockets and play will resume. Depending on what you took from the box, certain things will happen.If you took diamonds, you are a thief and when told to empty your pockets you must return all of the diamonds you took to the Godfather. You are eliminated and may no longer post in the thread until the game ends. The Godfather wins if he gets all of his diamonds back. You win if the Godfather loses and you are still in the game and have the most diamonds. In case of a tie, all tied players share victory.
If you took the Loyal Henchman role chip, and you are told to empty your pockets, you will reveal that role chip. The Godfather will lose the game unless they have a rum token to expend. The Godfather is given a certain amount of rum tokens dependent on the number of players). You win if the Godfather wins.
If you took the Agent role chip and you are told to empty your pockets you win the game. (Note: there are 2 agents but they are not on the same team)
If you took the Driver role chip, the rules for emptying your pockets are the same as Loyal Henchman, you produce the role chip and the Godfather must expend a rum token or lose the game. You win if the player above you on the list wins.
If you took the Cleaner role chip, the rules for emptying your pockets are the same as Loyal Henchman. You count as a Loyal Henchman and win with the Godfather unless you use your special ability. When the Godfather asks someone to empty their pockets, the Cleaner may say pow in bold to indicate that they wish to shoot that player. If that player happens to be the agent, the Cleaner wins alone. If not, then the Cleaner is eliminated and loses the game. If the player that the cleaner shot is a theif, the godfather receives his diamonds normally. If the player would require a rum token to be used up when accused (Loyal Henchman, Driver, Urchin) the godfather does not need to use a rum token.
If you are a street urchin, you must reveal this and again the Godfather loses unless they expend a rum token. You will win if a thief (or thieves) win.
SPECIAL RULES
1. It’s a game, have fun!
2. I am the final judge on things, but I’m not infallible. If I mess things up let me know and I’ll correct it. (I probably will) If I forgot anything (I probably have) I’ll make sure to announce it and try to fix it as best as I can as quick as I can.
3. Be nice, no personal attacks.
4. There is no private communication in this game so no talking about this game outside this game.
5. Don’t quote PMs between us. You can tell people what you saw in the box but you can’t quote my PM for example.
6. There won’t be any hard deadlines but try to check back every day or couple of days (leaning more towards more often especially if you are the Godfather) to keep the game moving along. I will prod people but this is kind of a weird game to replace into so please try to stick around.

. So, here we go. Since Lady Lambdadelta and ika both expressed interest in being the Godfather(mother), I'm going to randomize it. My random.org coinflip says Lady Lambdadelta. Phase 1 will begin momentarlly. I will get the list of players in a random order to determine when each player gets the box and who the driver wins with.
