Defence sounds a bit pointless right now, it's the same as attack but with a cap on its effect.

If the monster is only trying to have 20 or more HP by the end of the fight, that goes up to 63.3%.

I think the monster has two points of defense and one point of attack, not three points of HP, three points of attack, and two points of defense. So effectively it's just 10 health vs. 6 health, since the stats perfectly cancel each other out.

Before we begin, in the event that the monster roles HP, I think I'll have it go up by 3 instead of 5 since 3 is half of 6.



And I think I'll use KingAce's stats of "I think the monster has two points of defense and one point of attack" if everyone is fine with that.

Might want to ask Mastin or JDGA about that. It seemed a bit weird given the theme of the game so far, but maybe they had a good reason to make it +5HP.

There wasn't any particular reason behind +5HP.
The 1ATK 2DEF was the intention:
Roll 3d3, a 1 rolled is a point in HP, a 2 rolled is a point in ATK, a 3 rolled is a point in DEF.

I'm fine with +3HP, I haven't looked into doing the numbers from here on but that wouldn't surprise me.

Anna's asked me to handle swyellowtail's rolls for a bit, so...
swyellowtail: 10HP, 2ATK, 1DEF
Opponent: 6HP, 1ATK, 2DEF

Resulting in +0 to swyellowtail's rolls and +0 to the opponent's rolls.
swyellowtail sends a 4 at us... (insert RP text here it's 3am and we're explaining how the rules work shhhh)

And at the same time, it gets scarier when you have 2+ points in HP. 3 HP vs 3 ATK: You have a lower chance of hitting. 1-6 vs 4-9.

..unless the attributes are applied AFTER the rolls, which would be slightly fairer. Otherwise, ATK all the way~
