SETUP RULES

• The game is played in teams of two players. Players may find a partner in the thread or pair up outside of the thread.
  
• The "guesser" and "clue-giver" roles will be decided by the teams prior to the game. If there is no preference, a two-sided dice tag will be flipped to decide which player will play what role.
  
• Games will be played to the best of five. The first team to get three passwords correct (

  ) will win the game.
  
• Winners continue to play until they are beaten by a challenging team.
  
• A team does not have to stay together, but all rankings will occur by teams. For example, if Player A and Player B win two matches together, this A & B team will be ranked for two wins. If Player B swaps with Player C, making a team of Player A and Player C, then this will count as a new, unranked team (regardless of Player A or Player C's previous team rankings).

GAME RULES

(Taken and modified from PersonalIdiot04's original game)

Matching

• The Moderator will decide on a password. The password will be an English word which will be given to both of the clue-giver players. I will then use a two-sided dice tag to determine which team gives the first clue (1 being the first team signed up/champions, 2 being the second team/challengers).
  
• The first clue-giver will then post a
  one word clue
  in
  bold
  tags, preferably. The contents cannot be more than one word, nor can they be hyphenated or elaborated on within the post in anyway. The word cannot be the password, a made-up word, or "too similar" to the password.
  
• If the other team believes the clue breaks the rules in anyway, they are allowed to appeal to the Moderator for an impartial decision. The Moderator also has authority to stop play at any time and give both clue-givers a new password for any reason.
  
• The guesser from the same team tries to guess what the password was from the clue-giver's clue. They guesser will then post a
  one word guess
  in
  bold
  tags, preferably.
  
• Each team gets three turns to guess the word. If the guesser's guess is correct during the first turn then that team scores six points and ends the round. The guess can have a different form than the password, so if the word is "fish", the words "fishing" and "fished" would be acceptable.
  
• If the guesser is incorrect, we move on to the next team which will follow the same procedure. If the password is guessed during this turn then that team scores five points and ends the round.
  
• We continue on in this pattern, subtracting one point for each clue. If no correct guess has been made after both teams have had three turns, the word is revealed and nobody scores a point. The round is replayed and the points remain the same.

Scoring

• During the game itself, the first person to light up three passwords will be declared the winner of the game.
  
• Rankings will go by wins first, then total points, and then losses.

Though I left out the links themselves (if someone wants to take the time and reconstruct the URL tags for each game link, feel free to do so and I'll put them up ... DV and CD both used post tags instead of URL tags so they won't transfer over unless we find the direct links for each game).
