Both Iec and TierShift have felt peripheral to the game the whole time it's been going on, they don't really seem to me to attack or defend or ever be noticed, and as a result I have a gut feeling that at least one of them is scum.

shos || I feel worse about shos than I did before, partially because Brian dislikes him and I am finding my past townread difficult to justify now. He posts town sounding things but maybe I shouldn't give him so much benefit of the doubt when his thought processes seem so consistently perpendicular to what I think of as how reasons work.

I think you can look at the other roles in this game and make the same argument about how they can be used to mislead the town:

Cabd can fuck with lurker votes.
Ceph can swap two people in the VC.
I can mess with the points.
Wisdom can send messages to people containing anything they want.

There's potential, in all of these roles, for there to be misleading/misdirection/fuckery. I don't think the argument that my role, specifically, CAN fuck w/ people is really legitimate without applying the same to these other roles.

This is a sore topic for me specifically because in 999 Mafia, I was a Friendly Neighbor, and when I "confirmed" myself to other people, it showed up as the mod saying "You received a message" then saying I'm town.
