That joke thing page 1 really sealed the deal. It's kinda hard to explain but I've seem scum try to take something serious in rvs and use that as a reason to vote. Plus it didn't come off as a joke, it read serious to me.

His voting DDD doesn't sit well with me, I'm not necessarily town reading him but I haven't seen any scum indications from him so it looks like iv is just getting desperate.

Well imo when a player gets run up to L-1 the IC should explain what that actually means and what the expectations are with regards to claiming, hammering, etc. That was a prime teaching opportunity.

Newer players who have never played the game aren't going to know what is expected of them and what they should do

f there is a cop try not to out yourself if you have an innocent result. If you have a guilty try to make a case on the person and try to convince others as to not out yourself. Only claim if you absolutely have to.

and since this happened recently, I feel like it must be said in all future newbie games. If you are a cop and you have a town read getting lynched but you never investigated them, do not lie and said you got an innocent result. That doesn't end well for town.

What I meant was if my vote will lynch someone who I don't find a top suspect, I would prefer it to go to someone who I do want lynched.

About DDD, as I said, it's a gut feeling. I will gain nothing right now saying why, but it is.
Regarding why I'm not doing anything, I'm waiting for something. A slip up. I'm going through some posts to see what I can come up with though.

I'm helping town by telling them who I think is scum and why. I also point out when people make incorrect statements about me. I can't force people to listen to me cause if I could you would be lynched. If I see suspicious things aka your scum slip, I point them out.

Right now we have 1 scum slip, a couple of Lurkers. I can't read the Lurkers for shit and I'm always down for lurker lynch if there wasn't something else obvious, but there isn't.

I guess there is only 1 way you can know for sure they there is a rb'er but in my gut I don't feel like that applies here.

I don't think random's defense was that great but what I'm really hung up on is private's vote on dtd. If I was scum going down I'd probably vote my buddy and hope that would clear him. Then again maybe he voted dtd to just mess with people.

The damning thing for random is the quick change of "wait" to "hammer him". Like hardly any time passed.

@DDD, you really need to get to a point where you revaluate your reads, all of them. I can tell you the number of times I've ridden the wave of town read to victory as scum.

I don't have the energy to fight right now cause another game wiped me out. The slip wasnt a cover, it's something I honestly believe and it came from a guy I was already scum reading. I'm not sure why everyone was town reading billi day 1 but he wasn't a town read to me. Particularly for the way he was pushing an iv lynch while not being on it. He only got on cause I called him out for it. The comment trying to draw doc protection looked like he was trying to out the doc or whatever.

ok so you have my unvoting private when he got to L-1 like it's some super big deal but I had just replaced in and felt the game was stalling, I voted strictly to get reactions and had no read one way or the other. So looking at the VCs in my history the most common is 1 scum on and 1 scum off. I know I have seen all town mislynches before but since private was scum that's obviously ruled out and I am sure there have been 2 scum on wagons but most common is 1 on and 1 off.

If we assume that scenario scum is dtd or jk and if we assume that 2 scum on that means our pool is either Billi, random, or DDD (ddd having the worst reason to vote on the wagon)

from my pov since I know i am town, that still leaves scum in the pool of 3 (DDD, random, Billi) and had billi not made the setup comment I would probably be on DDD or random (DDD for his lousy hammer and random for ignoring billi's opportunistic voting while calling me out for mine, which it wasn't.

Private voting Billi could have been a bus which if Billi slipped, gives the green light to bus your partner for town cred

so private flipping scum still reads Billi as scum

I re-read day 1 over and over and over again and still haven't seen a single town quality out of billi yet everyone town read him but me. As scum i would be fucking stupid to go after the 1 person that nobody is going to get lynched. I made that mistake in the first scum game I ever played under this Jake account and guess how that ended? badly, I lost.

So if I look bad for going after the choice that isn't the popular choice, I really don't give a crap because all signs to me point to Billi being scum and in the end i have to trust my gut and if that means i get lynched so be it.

and I had a huge post about dtd and I went to hit the backspace key to deleted something and instead I hit the f12 and this weird screen popped up that I couldn't get rid of and it ate my post

In a nut shell it was something along the lines of

Day 1 his play was quite good but his hammer took his town cred away
day 2 his play wasn't as good, wasting time questioning a town read and other useless stuff
day 3 giving jk a pass just cause he was the hammer vote, despite scum hammering scum buddies all the time. Also saying my reason for why I thought JK was town is bad but his reason for giving jk a pass is horrible, not to mention he is hanging on to a mysterious town read on random. Makes me think he's trying to keep random on his side.

Not to mention saying the NK of Zephyr can only come from somebody experienced which really isn't true

If random is town when I do my re-read I would be willing to vote DDD. I don't really like the dtd wagon

Things about random that bother me

1. when he freaked out private was getting voted, granted he was getting voted for basically lurking or whatever but random's reaction looked nervous especially given he's never been scum before. If his partner was getting run up I could see this kind of reaction

2. DDD voted private and random again reacted bad and voted DDD. Given private flipped scum this looks bad imo (then again random also voted me for voting Billi so this one could just be nothing, though his vote on me was bad bad bad)

3. post 160 stands out as he is trying to divert attention away from private onto IV

4. I really don't like his vote on private in post 307/308 - He didn't really give a reason for his vote, he said he was sheeping dtd's reasons, which of course as private pointed out dtd's reasons were sheeping random's reasons. (this again is probably nothing but it still stands out to me)

5. given how random was gunning for me I could easily see him making a zephyr kill, it would make his agenda of mislynching me easier and it almost worked. I was 1 vote away from being lynched but when random realized he wasn't going to get that last vote, he switched to dtd which imo is an odd switch considering how he was sheeping dtd the day before.

For the record DDDs only game with me was a game where I had correctly identified that 1 was scum and 1 was the SK and instead them both going for the win, they lynched me and the SK won cause he was nk immune.

I can point you to tons of lylo/mylo where I did work and I get ignored or I choose wrong or whatever. I can probably find scum games too.

My laziness today is really the first time that I can recall being lazy and refuse to do anything. So even if you read all my games I don't think you could ever find meta that supports my play this game. Also if you read any game from 2013 and prior you will see a different player than you would if you read my 2014 games.

I'm find with using meta to lynch someone or clear someone but ddd doesn't have the meta knowledge he thinks he has. In fact if you relied solely on meta I'd say the evidence would prove I'm not scum. But don't take my word for it. Read my 2014 games for yourself.

Well yeah if I get lynched it's not auto-win for me but nobody is really making a case against me. I can't defend myself from "ddd is townier than you"

If you could have had my lynch yesterday and you thought I was scum yesterday, why did you not try and get me lynched?

Your second one though is interesting because actually the fact that billi voted right after me and didn't question my vote definitely stood out in my mind, which is why I pushed the scum slip thing so hard cause he was already on my radar. My vote in 176 wasn't for an awful reason, I felt it was a pretty good reason.

The third thought could easily have been generated by you killing zeph trying to manipulate the discussion. Why would i kill zeph? In my scum games I try to create confusion by taking out people that can set up a mislynch the next day. If I were scum i'd probably would have taken out random since he was giving his list of who he thought should be lynched the next day. Pretty sure you can look through all of my scum games and see examples of that. Killing Zephyer doesn't help me achieve my win condition if I were scum.

Your last post is also pointless.

You can't point to my laziness and say I am scum for it. You can say I am playing anti-town probably but not scum. My scum games in lylo I am way more active than I am this game, but I am also way more active in my town games

I don't think I have a single game where I was essentially a useless MF'er like I am in this game, but I have also never been in a situation where no matter who I help lynch, town still wins.

That's not scum reading him. You policy lynched him. That's essentially what you are now trying to do with me. Sure I should be more active / aggressive but because I'm not it's perceived as anti- town and that's easier to attack.

Basically all your pushes were underlying policy lynches which are easy to pull off as scum.

I didn't find the QuickTopic when I was looking for it (but was it this game or the other one?).

Actually both games. I rarely take the lead but then again the zeph kill was a lone kill so that doesn't really help me out in this game.
