Good morning all. I intend not to vote until 7 days have past (July 17'th). However, I will FOS: Lucy for taking my ball away before I kick it.-

I don't vote during RVS. I like to spend time talking and reading. We've got 2 weeks, and I intend to use it.-

Like I said, it wasn't random, it was because I don't trust people who steal footballs just before they are kicked...

Google "Lucy Football" and you'll see. She's a character from Peanuts (the comic strip) who is known for promising Charlie Brown that she will hold the football while he kicks it and always pulls the ball away at the last minute, leaving Charlie Brown to kick nothing and fly through the air and land on his back.
That's why you can't trust Lucy.-

The RVS may be far shorter than that. And a suspect may be found fairly early on that I would happily noose. That being said, I have a way of doing things that prevents me from being hot headed. For example, I never make a large purchase until 3 days after I say I intend to purchase it. If I still want that model of TV I've been looking at after 3 days, only then will I make the purchase.
The 7 day exile is a self imposed rule to help me take my time and I feel that it is the best interest of notifying the group early on of this, so that, if I take my time hammering for example, it's not seen as scummy. As seen in a previous game, I have no problem using my vote and hammering.-

FOS: TSO. For having a financial incentive to lynch townies (to get out of beer and pizza tab) and, for potentially providing alcohol to minors. (Never asked if everyone was above age).-

FOS: Billi for running up the votecount on TSO to L-2 while knowing one of the votes was V/LA and can't get off.-

@ Billi: Assuming that the three on there are town, that leaves 2 mafia votes out there. While not the smartest of moves, the 2 mafia could quickly come on and vote TSO, resulting in a mislynch.-

T S O, can you please explain what you mean by Lucy's back? I don't see her yet... Where do you see her?-

@TSO: Thanks for that, I just was trying to see if there might have been a scumslip there. Thanks for Open 555, I'll read through it later. Also, I've been following you on HP:POA so I know how you will react when you replace into a suspected scum slot that is actually a reflexive roleblocker. Because that might come up.
Do not talk about ongoing games. Period.Last edited by penguin_alien on Mon Jul 14, 2014 11:01 am, edited 1 time in total.-

You should be careful about talking about ongoing games, Doogal. I doubt the mods will punish you because you didn't say much, but they're notoriously strict about not talking about them. I talked about a game in another game once and that game was terminated immediately. No, really.
There's no real read to look through 555, unless you're interested in Victor's scumplay, other than to note he -was- active there.
Sorry, I'll be sure not to mention anything of the sort again.-

OK everybody, after detailed analysis of each players ISO's, I have come up with the following list of Town/Null/Lynchable
Billi - Trying to dig up inconsistencies in votes
Glass - Trying to scumhunt
----
Clusk - Participating, not seeing much digging
Shaddows - Null
Acryon - No posts at all
Rach - Null
---
TSO - Victor was right, I was uncomfortable how quickly you called me Town after I announced I wasn't voting.
Victor - For pushing TSO because he vote prodded a lurker.
My vote comes available tomorrow and I have no problems hammering either of the lynchables after a 24 hour notice to give time to talk their way off the gallows.-

Why?
Do you think I should have just skated around the issue?
How do I put this. I don't think you are in the wrong for running a scumread further up the steps. And, assuming Victor flips scum, you are in the clear.
However, I'm might be wrong for thinking this, but from games I observed on another forum (kingdom of loathing), Mafia would typically jump in toward the end of a mislynch wagon, but not be the one who hammered. So, in a game that is 5 to lynch, spots 3 and 4 are most likely to be scummy.
I guess how Victor flips, assuming he gets hammered will tell us a great deal about your vote.-

Maybe you missed my question:

I want to know if this is an actual FOS, or continuing the joking you were doing in previous posts.

I'm a bit uncomfortable about how quickly you have me in your town category after last game as well.
TSO wrote:
Would scum Victor really be this nonchalant about being lynched?
Ehhh, there has been literally no pushback from this wagon so I am having my doubts as well. Need to look into other possibilities atm.
Glass, that was not a joke, I had real concerns. I have since read his igloo mafia game and see that is well within his standard townie play. As for your read, you are different this game. It may be that you are town, it may just be that you don't have axle to go off. Last game, between you and axle, I had no idea what was going on. Your posts this game seem clearer and more to the point.
Now that my self imposed restraint period has past, I would like toVote: Rachto get her involved in the game and participate in scum hunting, now that you are feeling better and having less computer issues.
PS, glad to hear you are feeling better. But I'm still voting for you.-

No-ones stupid enough you're right, still possible for an accidental hammer though.
If you are worried about accidental hammerings, why don't you unvote?
Wasn't particularly worried - just explaining it was a possibility. I also think TSO's reasons for L-1 outweighed mine.
Doogal, I'd like to explain why you felt the need to wait a week to vote so you can 'take time talking and reading' and yet when its over you vote for Rach just to get her involved in the game. It makes the wait seem a bit pointless if that's the best vote you can come up with after analysing the thread.
Quite frankly, I don't have very good reads on most people. I didn't like the Victor wagon because no counter wagon appeared, so I decided to put my vote out on a lurker. Rach is active in other places, so getting her attention here with a vote makes sense.-

Guys, I know I've not participated much the past couple of days. I'll be off tomorrow as well, things are busy at work. I intend to give it my all in 2 days.
I'm ok with Rach being lynched as she is probably the only person contributing less then I am at this point, so I will leave my vote where it is.-
