Here (below) the first game posts we see clearly why my vote is on njac. Mostly for a poke at zombie to see if can gain insight into his way of thinking and to determine if that way of thinking is a townie mindset; the question I have in my mind is was zombie slightly defending njac? The fact that workdawg then votes me pings me in his next "rvs" vote . Not to concerned about it. I will stay on zombie since I have already invested time. And then move onto workdawg. The question I have in my mind is did he workdawg vote his scumpartner as is back tracking?

VOTE: njac

Why are you defending njac?

So how you came to the conclusion that I, yakko, want him, njac, to claim before the end of page 2 is not only hilarious; it has no basis in reality.

My gut is telling me voting you is a bad idea. I will hold off.

Are you actually trying to say that Zombie's vote is somehow indicative of his alignment when it's pretty clearly an RVS vote just as much as anyone else's? You specifically quoted my vote, so I'll compare his vote to mine. I voted for the last person to confirm, he voted for the first person to vote. Even the style of the post is the same. "[Person did this], must be scum..." all the way down to the punctuation. (Though I had an extra period; 4, versus the standard 3 for an ellipsis)`. [/quote]

Yes. I'm not trying to be the battleground for you guys.
(Though for the record, it WAS a joke).

For all of your information, I am still here, I just don't have much to contribute to the disscusion and I would prefer not to get in an argument/people get think I am scum.
It always seem to me that most of the time, those two people who fight the entire time are both town, and the mafia are just letting them kill themselves.

Workdawg seems town to me, but that is my humble and probably not very relevant opinion.
yea.

Just a quick question, do you guys plan on lynching today or are we going to no lynch?
i don't really mind.

thats all from me...

...for now

Reading your posts in ISO, you've contributed nothing to this game so far, two of the posts you have made were to tell us you have nothing to contribute. We're 5 pages in, is there nothing you can add?

I am just trying to keep a lookout for anything useful. I am pretty bad at mafia, to be honest, and I am trying to improve.
Jake and Yakko seem a bit, "aggressive" and as I said, workdawg seems town to me. I'm not sure about anyone else.

Why do you feel like you can trust me?

Also, your profile shows this is your first game, have you played elsewhere?

You are calm and are answering questions posed to you in a manner that for me, seems town. You aren't flustered and are making legitimate points (before you shout at me, I didn't say he is ONLY making legit points).

I have played 5 games on another forum (except only 3 really count, the other two pretty much had no lynching/night killing take place (don't ask why)).
It is where I discovered mafia.

At the end of the day, it wouldn't be so bad if I was lynched.
a) If I was townie, you wouldn't be really losing a good player, because I'm not contributing so much
b) On the other hand, you guys have the chance of hitting a weak mafia player.

As for the situation with zombie, I have some thoughts I'll share in a bit, but first...

@Zombie:
What is your experience with mafia?

I had a paragraph responding to this question on my other post, but it has seemed to have disappeared.
I have played basically 3 games on an external site. I was townie all three times and, surprisingly, Mafia-killed all 3 times (I think).

I'm glad that you are saying that (if town) you are weak due to simply not contributing. Even a player in his first game can spot a slip or pay attention and catch something others miss. Still, this seems like a post trying to appeal to emotion more than anything else.

Instead of saying that it wouldn't be so bad if you are lynched and appealing to emotion, could you maybe take a read through the game and see if you see anything that sticks out? Perhaps some succinct thoughts about each of your fellow players? You may surprise us (and yourself?) with the effort, and then if you were to be lynched and flip town, the rest of us could look at your thoughts and know they came from a source whose motives we can trust.

As it stands now you have basically told the game to lynch you and left nothing behind. If you're scum and are just giving up, that's a decent play I suppose. But any other situation would make your best play to do something like what I've suggested, or some other thing that gets you interacting with the game and the rest of us.

If I may use a swimming analogy here: Come on in, the water is perfect.

In post 158, Drixx wrote:From an experienced player, that post was equivalent to claiming scum. From a player less than a month on the site ... I still have a margin of doubt. We'll see whether he just refuses to put more thoughts in the thread, which basically confirms him as scum... or if he'll respond to what I said and surprise us.

And I have to go...
As was said earlier, I have checked the thread several times, but never had enough time to respond.
I'll respond tomorrow morning (weekend).
