Nacho probably remembers me and is voting because he doesnt want any hindrance to his mafia plans.

Also as far as i know its "pre-game" and votes dont count.

But just in case its counted

VOTE: nacho
Why would you try to force an interpretation on an RVS vote?

VOTE: thenewearth
Lack of tonal perception from Franky.
thenewearth is confident in delivery.

If it's malicious and/or out of nowhere, then yeah, It's scum indicative.
Do you think my "quick" judgements were "malicious"/"out of nowhere"?

Because no one has done RQS (is there one of those on this forum?) I will do that now.
1) Are you mafia or town?
2) Any experience?
3) Which side will win?
My answers:
1) SK
2) Around 3 games of mafia (on another forum)
3) Tie. Vig and Mafia will shoot each other last night. (This game will be secretly BM and Vig will show up out of nowhere.)
And just to bandwagon because no votes count, VOTE: thenewearth.
Pro-active intro.
e_is_cool wants to get to know the player list, their disposition and experience.

Nachomamma8.
Do you think there is a correlation between newb-scum voting for their scum partners?
Do you think there is a correlation between experienced scum not voting for their newb-scum partners?

Are you trying to figure out if you should vote for your mafia partner? Because that type of question is best answered after votecounts, not before. (No point in telling everyone all the scumtells if no one has done any of them.)
Days are 14 days long so I don't think it will be a problem.

That question was specifically for Nachomamma8.
I do not appreciate you jumping in to answer for him but I will address the points you have raised.

"Are you trying to figure out if you should vote for your mafia partner?"
No.
e_is_cool presents a reachy theory/conclusion that I am asking the IC's opinion on whether to vote for my supposed scum partner.
e_is_cool is unafraid to label my actions as scum-motivated.
Or is e_is_cool telling me that I am being anti-town?
I prefer this narrative (as opposed to the scum-e_is_cool overreacting and miss-representing my motivations with a reachy scum theory narrative).

"No point in telling everyone all the scumtells"
If what I write about site scum meta / mafia game theory effects scum's behaviour this game it is a productive interaction.

e_is_cool.
Do you think scum could take advantage of how everyone answers your "Any experience?" question?

In post 29, thenewearth wrote:It looks town really but most of it that I encounter are from scum. 80% of it. Its a really easy LAMIST play.
80%?
Those are the bests odds you're going to get all of Day 1.
In post 31, Nachomamma8 wrote:This seems like a generally positive response to the RQS; why didn't you answer e's questions if you thought what he was doing was a good thing?
I liked the motivation of e_is_cool initiating RQS as a new player.
I will not be taking part though, the same way I sometimes do not choose to take part in RVS.
It depends on the opening vibe of the first few pages.
In post 31, Nachomamma8 wrote:Yes to both of these; although I think how willing a player is to vote their scumpartner depends very very heavily on their disposition as opposed to their experience, I have thoughts on both of these.

I think that newb-scum tend to defend their scum partners too hard or they tend to vote them too early. This is based on mistakes in two different directions; I think that they defend their scumpartners too hard because they're afraid to lose them, and I think they vote them too early if they think they look scummier than they do. An average new scum player is probably less likely to vote their scumpartner than most.

I think that experienced scum rarely vote for their newb-scum partners; as scum IC, I try to give my scumpartner every opportunity to post and be townread and survive, and if possible, I'll be the one to be the sacrificial sheep and set them up for endgame, and I think that extends to most people who IC or SE seriously. That being said, if I my scumpartner is lurking or looks really scummy or we've talked about distancing in scum chat, then I'm more likely to place a distancing vote/bus.
Thanks.
In post 44, thenewearth wrote:Also about the L-1

2 people are sheeping

Why is that? Oh right because "RQS is town you're scum because you dont agree with e"

Double lul. I swear one of them is scum along with e
Strong OMGUS vibe evident here.

Game solved on page 2?
Do you believe the mafia team have piled onto your wagon in pre-game to force L-1?
Do you think the sheeping is scum-indicative based on where we are?

Frustrated townie or scum trying to avoid pressure by removing themselves from focus?
The neglection of this particular game makes me lean the latter.
This coupled with the OMGUS vibe of his reaction to his pre-game wagon is worrying.

Note 1: must look at both his scum and town meta of receiving early votes/pressure.
Note 2: thenewearth has been the most talked-about/scum-read player so far.

In post 70, Faalcon wrote:Okay, time for thoughts on everyone :

Blizzard :
We know he is there, but not much more.
e_is_cool :
He stayed pretty consistent when accused, so good point for him I guess. We also know he's played some games elsewhere, so he might be experienced. I see it in his debate with Harry on page 2, for instance. I don't have much else to say, and he's not there at the moment.
Harry :
A pretty active guy. But being active isn't always being rational/helpful, and a lot of his posts are there for the count (all his posts on page 1, for instance). To be honest, his writing one-liners after posts (like "X is active) quite annoys me. He sometimes asks good questions though.
Faalcon :
He's town. He's also me.
Franky :
Like Harry, he asks a lot of questions, not all of them relevant. All around I get a "wait and see" vibe from him.
Storma : I'm waiting for him to say something.
Parabola :
He's been with us for little time. He gave us some advice on nacho, and is taking part in the earth lynch.. Plus he cannot count.
Earth :
The more I read his posts, the scummier he looks to me. He votes e_is_cool because of that RQS thing, which is okay. But he completely misreads that RQS, and gets all butthurt when voted. Then he votes e again despite having no motives (plus if he was doing a RVS, he'd do it on someone else I think).
Nacho :
He is both helping us understand the game/debate and confusing us on himself. Looks like someone trying to be unclear on whether he's town or scum by giving us insight on his playing. Looks pretty neutral to me for now, and quite informative.
Uneasy with this snap-shot of everyone - some observations were more info/activity-led than alignment indicative-led.
No direct interactions thus far with any players though.

In post 82, e_is_cool wrote:You are being very neutral, trying talking about the game and saying how one person could be scum, but that same person could also be town. Overreacting itself isn't scum. (There's something on the wiki about this I think.)
I was not being neutral.
I weighed up the potential town vs scum motivation and concluded scum-lean.

Do you think theneweath's reaction to his pre-game wagon was non-alignment indicative?
