[SETUP] Resistance Mafia

It's somewhat a mix of Resistance and Mafia, there's no lynch nor mafia factional kill.

The mod randomizes the player list in a circle and the first player gets to choose 3 players to send in a mission. The players can vote to accept the mission team or reject and pass to the next in the circle (they can't reject 5 times in a row).

If the mission team has at least one scum in it, the scum possesses a factional kill they can use on anyone. If the mission team doesn't have any scum, one random player (or should scum choose who?) will get a 1-shot vigilante they can use only that night.

imo there should be:
10-12 town members
3 scum members

A mission not having scum confirms three players as town.

That's insane

I second this concern.

What about this: scum get to choose a member of the mission team to receive a kill, regardless of the team composition. Then that player makes the kill secretly (night-action-style). Players are allowed to claim they got the kill, but they have no way to prove it.

This means that if there's no scum on the team, a townie will get the kill and kill someone. If there is scum on the team, scum can choose to give the kill to a townie (in order to make the scum on the team look good), to give the kill to scum on the team and claim it, or to give the kill to scum on the team and not claim it (this last combination is the only one that's hard evidence that there's scum on the team, with the others it's circumstantial).

Numbers could be hard to work out. I believe this is scumsided at 9:3, which makes 10:3-12:3 a reasonable guess at the size of game needed, but I worry that large-Mini/small-Large size is likely too large for a game with so few kills. Perhaps it's workable with shorter deadlines.

Actually like that idea.

If it had to be smaller:
6-8 town members
2 scum members
