Interesting points. I've always been pro- but you're convincing me to at least think twice about it since you're right that full replication isn't possible unless our community suddenly decides they're into holding live tribals.

I also agree that the reason idols are good for the game is because they (or, even better, the mere fear of their existence) can disrupt the power structure. Which is one of the reasons I find idol nullifiers to be a hideous invention, and isn't allowing a response kind of the same thing?
