I think Cosmic Power Clefable/Siglyph are more annoying though. because you have to rely on hax in order to beat them at all if they ever get a free turn. And they can't be toxic stalled, which is usually the way I end up dealing with annoying things.
too much support needed,
no idiot is going to lose their psychic-resist since every time you bring out clef or sig, they'll just switch in for free momentum,
too frail on switch-in, meta is too offensive to work

ok. im going to run a game within a game. this is very simple: betting on elim challenges!
each player starts with 100 points. you can bid any amount of points on either of the battlers. when the battler you bet on wins, you split all the money in the pot with the other winners. losers get nothing.
anybody can play. to start, just PM me with your bet. even eliminated contestants and the people who are battling!
PM bets to me. winner gets the internet!!!

I will be around for the whole challenge, and will be trying as hard as I can to win, but I kind of doubt that I'm actually going to be able to do much because I'm bad at everything.
cause you're a monster KA you were made for this game you are a god I believe in you

And now, for the results of this week's betting pool
Bets entered this week were overwhelmingly in favor for winner Tiershift. As such, even though large amounts of money were bet, the winnings were scarce.
If cxinlee had won, Yiley would have no less than 253. Alas, it was not meant to be.
Yiley: 90
Blackpawn: 101
Lord Mhork: 103
Tiershift: 106
Remember, you can enter the
Pokemon Betting Pool
at any time by submitting a bet on the upcoming battle. Best of luck, Trainers.
Spoiler: Some changes
If all the people in one round bet on a single trainer, then the pay for winning will be 1/[bets received that round]. I realize that the current system has a few drawbacks, namely the inability for large payoffs unless a lot of people also bet against you, but it's necessary and perhaps the only system for player-created odds.

Yeah. This early in the game I'm just going to pick inactives and weaker players just to keep the game interesting. I'll send you some other round, heh.
Maybe Yiley and PrivateI since I'm not familiar with either? kdowns sometimes drops games too so I'm looking at him.
Spineless. As. Fuck.
This is what we agreed on. This is what KA and ani and I agreed on as well, because we weren't petty enough to jeopardize a game that we cared about because we have insecurity issues.

[2/7/14 1:37:30 PM] Hal: why do you think it's broken?
[2/7/14 1:37:47 PM] Hal: and since it's universally available, what about it makes it uncompetitive?
[2/7/14 1:39:26 PM] Will Seamon: Mainly just the fact that it gives coverage for any missing types, so people with more balanced teams have less of an advantage because of Hidden Power's availability. I'm really unsure about the ban though still.
[2/7/14 1:39:47 PM] Hal: yes, that's sort of the point of hidden power, to give missing coverage
[2/7/14 1:39:57 PM] Hal: it also got a nerf to its BP in gen 6
[2/7/14 1:40:37 PM] Hal: also, the implicitly declared idea that hp is more powerful at low leves than at high ones is sort of crappy, considering even high powered moves are available at lvl 1
[2/7/14 1:41:49 PM] Will Seamon: I guess the difference here is that you know exactly what you're going to be covering against
[2/7/14 1:41:56 PM] Hal: yeah, so?
[2/7/14 1:42:05 PM] Hal: both sides know exactly what they're going up against
[2/7/14 1:42:12 PM] Hal: it doesn't give an unfair advantage to either side
[2/7/14 1:42:26 PM] Hal: and unless you can prove in some way that it lends an element ot the game that makes it uncompetitive
[2/7/14 1:42:32 PM] Hal: like, luck based, or whatever
[2/7/14 1:42:39 PM] Hal: which i personally think you'd be hard pressed to do
[2/7/14 1:52:14 PM] Will Seamon: I posted in thread about it, I want to make sure everyone's voice is heard
[2/7/14 1:58:52 PM] Hal: personally, ani fucked up that battle
[2/7/14 1:59:09 PM] Hal: like if you don't want to carry hp directed at your opponent's pokemon, that's your own fault
[2/7/14 1:59:23 PM] Hal: if you want to put up reflect against a team of specail attacker's, that's your perogative
[2/7/14 1:59:33 PM] Hal: but to then turn that around and say that the game is imbalanced?
[2/7/14 1:59:35 PM] Hal: come on.
