They completely outplayed the town in this game. Haylen brilliantly coordinated the scumteam's actions to claim cop in which she would counterclaim and then ride that claim to victory. Amazingly, the scumteam was able to keep the two claimed cops alive until it was "proven" that one wasn't the actual cop and the other one "was" a cop. None of the players alive in LyLo saw the scumteam winning this game and what little suspicion there was of the two remaining scumteam was glossed over in favor of believing the "cop".

Exactly. I'm pretty sure a Town True Claim has won it before, but am too tired to check.

I like Funniest Role Claim because the judges would know better than to take Scummy-bait unless the player in question was totally screwed in that game anyway.

Do people seriously play for scummies?

I don't understand why the awards are always in constant flux. It is quite frustrating to see certain awards removed, added, combined for seemingly no reason.

Have reasons been given regarding the changes (am I being dumb)?

Zoraster just explained the reason Best Role Claim was dropped. Funniest Role Claim is a 'meh' award, that seems best covered by Funniest Player. Losing Cause was dropped ages ago because it's a bad award. Rising Star was added because the Join Date issue made 'Best Newbie' deeply flawed, and it sort of covers Most Improved (plus a general lack of interest in Most Improved) meant they could be combined.

I don't understand how it's frustrating, really.

I just feel like the site should be included with these types of decisions.

Or maybe I'm adverse to change...
