Last week was pretty hectic and I couldn't really focus on all my games but I'm back in the office and ready to catch up.

Massive liability seems like I stretch I think. Most people seem to be ignoring him and he isn't really derailing the main discussion enough to warrant a lynch based on that and some slight suspicion.

Today has been pretty poor and we have less than 4 days left. The only proper discussion out there has been about acryon, but that doesn't seem to resonate with a majority, while the only counterpoints revolve around my push being scummy to begin with.

I personally don't wanna go for prolapsed until acryon is sorted.

Serra's right to be worried about the prospect of Karp coasting down to the last 5 or 3 players. Acryon writing him off as prob town VI without pointing out why (Anatole, what was that about him explaining his reads?) is one of several reasons why he still needs rope regardless of whether or not he's tried to explain away the scummy NK commentary. Karp isn't exhibiting newbtown behavior, all his votes are either the popular wagon of the minute or OMGUS votes and he hasn't kept up any pretense that he's reading since halfway through D1.

Are you kidding? I have posted several different times concerning karp. But I'll go ahead and quote them for you:

Players like Magikarp are very hard to read. It could very easily be that he just doesn't know how people usually act and respond in games or just has that weird play-style. It could just as easily be that he is playing crazy because generally town won't lynch people like him, because his extreme defensiveness seems almost too scummy to actually be scummy. I've seen almost his exact style played many times before, and in my experience it doesn't really point definitively to scum or town.

On another note, this VC is horrible. We have 2birds at 3. Prolapsed, Pijkachu, Apathy, and Lynx all at 2. The problem is, there is a pretty decent case for all of them. I think we'd be least happy lynching Pijkachu. Most of what he has said can be potentially be written off as newbie/silly, so I'm wary of us lynching him.

I don't understand this. Also, I think maybe you misunderstood my post, maybe it was my bad wording. I was meaning to say "let's not consider him worth lynching if we think he may be bad town", not "let's not lynch him either way."

What I am very worried about is the fact that serra and 2birds have both shown interest in a Karp lynch regardless of alignment. Not only that, but I didn't "write him off", but I'm certainly not ok with lynching a player D2 that has a post history easily attributed to being VI.

I'm not writing anyone off; I just don't want us to lynch someone like Karp just yet, when apparent VIs are usually just that.
