Const knew that Lapsa lied and he refuses answer how he inferred it. ("it's just a skill that you pickup" isn't an answer). He's most likely scum w/ Lapsa or scum w/ Performer (or possibly w/ Tool but I doubt it). In either case, he's a better lynch then those guys and the game is probably close to over.

Yes, it was obvious that Lapsa lied about being a neighborizer. I called bullshit on it right away. Performer also left some hints to reach this conclusion, but maybe I was the only one paying any attention after all.

I'm with JJD here. I think Constantine comes out looking the worst out of everyone in all this. I was already pretty confident in my scum read of him even before this mess happened.

I will refrain from claiming for now, but I am not against a mass claim today or in day 4.

Also, how likely is a 4 or even 5 man scum team with this size of a game?

@Mod: I'll be going on V/LA from Thursday through Sunday (11/26-29).

I should be able to keep up with the game while I'm gone and hopefully I'll have time for a post or two. I want to see if I can squeeze some work in before I leave for Thanksgiving.

Specifically, I want to look at associatives between Constantine and Lapsa. Because after thinking about it, the idea of Lapsa and Constantine planning to bus each other makes a lot of sense. Either way Constantine is doing some weird stuff.

The theory goes like this:

1. Lapsa and Constantine go into N2 and discuss their plans for the next day. They decide they are going to try to disrupt the town's stability as much as possible: kill off Keyser, probably the most active and helpful player in the game, and then pull a gambit and bus the hell out of each other.
2. They know Lapsa is in a neighborhood and that Perf is a neighborizer. They decide that Lapsa will fakeclaim neighborizer under the guise of "protecting Performer" and that Constantine will immediately bus, and whoever survives will ride the towncred to victory.
3. Lapsa takes the idea to Performer in the neighborhood thread. Perf says it's a terrible idea, but since it's part of Lapsa/Const's scum strategy Lapsa insists he's going to do it anyway.
4. When Lapsa actually pulls the stunt, Constantine buses immediately but fails to package it in such a way that it disguises the fact that he knew from the get-go that Lapsa wasn't actually a neighborizer. As an illustration for why this looks so bad, look at JJD and AP taking the claim at face value because as town who weren't implicated in Lapsa's fakeclaim they have no reason to think that scum would pull such a weird stunt that was always destined to fail.

First one doesn't apply because two town PRs were already dead on N2 when you allegedly told Perf in the neighborhood thread that you weren't going to fakeclaim. That didn't change when D3 began.

The rest just seems like such weird reasoning to me. Which is why I'm willing to give credence to the scum explanation that you and Const agreed on a gambit/bus scenario.

WHY??? - wasn't const on the verge of getting lynched when lapsa made his Gambit? The only motivation I can see for the Lapsa lie is a Const/Lapsa scumteam. Nothing else really makes sense for a motive.

The difference being that it was practical not to lynch a claimed powerrole on D2 in my opinion.
