In general I disagree with you on how you read people in this game. Whereas you say "SRMP hasn't really taken any hard stances" and conclude he is null, I say the same and conclude he is scum.

Lowell, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you have way more experience than I do. But from what I have seen, scum tend to behave more outspoken and less reserved. It makes sense since lurkers are going to get attention for lurking which is pretty anti-town. But to that end, targeting lurkers is a very easy thing for scum to do since it requires very little analysis and there is less requirement for fabrication.

SRMP, does this make sense and can you flesh out your question a little more in 334, I feel like there's a bit of a contradiction between it and 360. From what I'm reading here, I should scum read a person for being inactive and also not necessarily scum read them?

In other words, Lowell is just trying to look busy. He constantly posts some variation of "insanity is still scum" so that he looks like he is posting content. Yet, Lowell has shown no genuine attempt to sort my alignment, or the alignment of anyone else in the thread.

It is also noteworthy that when hasta tries to question him on some of this, Lowell only tries to discredit my growing scumread on his slot.

I dont scumread castle (at least now.) Dwlee was just counterpressure, but the fact he made a case and dident even defend it is odd to me. The fact he dident defend it makes me think he is scum pushing a bad case.

Dwlee99 is honestly starting to look even more suspicious though, but I don't think I'm ready to hop on his wagon yet.

Johnny is still a bit suspicious though. His posts haven't really had much reasoning lately, and he has been quiet, like Ricastle said. And when he has a chance to defend himself, he just makes another fluff post? I guess it's a joke, but I would defend myself in his situation, or he just doesn't take his votes seriously, but I kind of wouldn't mind voting him up to get some possible information.

@insanity- you're never going to win this "insanity v. lowell" battle you're trying to set up. doesn't matter how my text-walls you build. no one's going to buy it. might as well quit while you're behind.

@SRMP- I don't like one bit where you seize my comment about "non-committal equals scum" and use it against hasta. It looks like buddying (with me and him), even though you're (probably smartly, in your mind) using an example about yourself. I'm sure it feels pretty clever to act like you're taking the high road and helping hasta to come around on a scumread on you, but it still looks like coaching and trying too hard to say "see, guys, I don't care if you think I'm scum, I just want to help!"

FTR, I'm quite sure hasta is noob-town. I don't think scum (even newbie scum) would make such a weird comment about how equivocation on all things is null. I think he just honestly doesn't see how scum normally try to hide in games like this. Call it a teaching moment.
