Time is the constant which seems to rule our daily life. Time flows, memories pass, people die, and history is made.

We rely on that which we have no control of to keep carrying its weight, to keep moving, and with that keeping us alive.

But what if that were no longer the case?

What if time...were to disappear? Would things cease to exist?

Enter Zeno of Elea, who has the courage to break time, and with his Theroms of Motion, has caught time in a bitter struggle of reason and reality. He has unlocked the Secret of Time, one which was never meant to be realized...

Time has thus played a funny trick on us all, and has decided to inverse itself in its flow, memories, death, birth, and history.

Men and women who have less than half their life span left begin to degenerate, in both mind and body at a rapid pace. The young regenerate too fast for their bodies to cope, and are inheriting memories at an unhealthy sprint.

If this goes on for much longer, the world will surely go rotten. Amongst the nine of Elea, there are Agents of Zeno who hold the Paradox Paradigm, split into equal pieces of proportional power. Find them amongst yourselves, slay them, and bring order and peace to The World.

Rules

  • Days will last 3 weeks (21 days)
    
  • Nights will last 3 days (72 hours)
    
  • Times will be in EST (Eastern Standard Time; New York, Boston, Maryland, etc)
  
  
  Honesty and Cheating
  
  
  
  • In all interactions with the moderator, you must be honest.
    
  • Do not contact any player in or outside of the game about the game unless specifically allowed to by the moderator. When allowed, only do so in the specific manner allowed.
    
  • Do nothing that would be considered cheating.
  
  
  
  Gaming the System
  
  
  
  • Do not screen capture your role PM, or manufacture it in any way which would make it surely real.
    
  • Do not attempt to use a system of robust cryptography, etc. Do not use small or invisible text to attempt to avoid detection.
  
  
  
  Activity
  
  
  
  • If a player does not post for 72 hours, they will receive a prod
    
  • If either the player does not pick up the prod for 24 hours, or the player receives three prods, a replacement will be sought.
    
  • If you know you are going to be absent a particular amount of time, post in game and PM the moderator that you will be V/LA. Please include the date you plan to be back and posting.

  • Each player gets a single vote to use during the day that they may change as many times as they wish to vote for any player which
    must be in bold
    
    
  • Players may vote for "No Lynch." If at least half of the players vote for a "No Lynch," the day ends without a lynch.
    
  • I do not require and do not expect unvotes when switching votes, although I have no problem with you utilizing them.
    
  • If at the end of the day, no one has reached a vote number equal to (1/2) + 1 of the remaining playerlist, then the person with the most votes will be lynched
    
  • If two people are tied for votes at the end of the day, the person who reached that total first will be lynched
    
  • Once the lynch threshold has been reached, no more votes will count, however everyone may still talk until I lock the thread.
    
  • The day does not officially end until I close the thread. As such, the deadline in each votecount is 'tentative' and votes will be accepted until I close the thread or a lynch has been reached

  • Harassment of an individual player is NOT permitted. It is the nature of the game that players will be antagonistic toward each other at times. However, it should always be kept in the spirit of a game.
    
  • Always play to your win condition.
    
  • Do not discuss ongoing games in the game.
    
  • Do not discuss this game anywhere else with anyone else.
