The Rules

General Rules:

• The rules are subject to addition, deletion, or changes at any point during the game.
  
• Please be respectful to the other players and I.
  
• My color is green. Please don't use it or pretend to use it.
  
• You can

  discuss other ongoing games in this thread. Similarly, you can't discuss this game outside the thread unless your role allows you to.
  
• Please type in readable font color and size.
  
• If you have any questions/comments about the game, you can either send me a pm or post those questions/comments in the thread. If you do post any questions/comments in the thread which are directed at me, please bold that question/comment. Otherwise, I am more likely to miss it.
  
• This is a game. While I expect you to play to your win condition, ultimately the purpose of this game is to have fun. In addition, please don't ruin the game for others.

Voting, Lynches, and Deaths:

• All votes must be written in bold like this:

  . Unvoting is not required if you are switching your vote, but it makes my life a teensy bit easier. You can also vote for nobody to be lynched like this:
  Vote: No-lynch
  .
  
• In order for a player to be lynched, that player must receive a majority of the votes in play before the deadline arrives. If none of the players have received a majority of the votes before the deadline arrives then the player with the most votes will be lynched. If two players are tied for the most number of votes, then the lynch candidate listed at the top of the vote count will be lynched.
  
• In order for the town to perform a no-lynch, no-lynch must receive at least half the votes in play.
  
• If a player in the game dies, they are allowed a single 'Bah' post until the game is over. 'Bah' posts can't say anything relevant to the game unless you are encouraging your team. Otherwise, the post will be replaced by 'Bah. Go Town!' or 'Bah. Go Mafia!' depending on your allignment.

Days and Nights:

• The town will have two weeks each game day to decide who they want to lynch or if they want to no-lynch, unless they are given an extension.
  
• I may extend the deadline for the day or night if I feel that a deadline extension is necessary and/or any players have requested one. A deadline extension during the night may occur if many players are V/LA, regardless of said players' allignments. A deadline extension during the day may occur for any of the following reasons:
  -Many players were/are V/LA.
  -The game is moving forward but the town simply needs a little bit more time.
  -Players are getting replaced.
  
• The mafia will have 72 hours to submit their night action during the night.

Activity and Prods:

• If you plan to be V/LA during the game, you should either send me a private message, mention your V/LA in the thread, and/or submit your V/LA via the user control panel. Please bold your V/LA if you mention it in the thread.
  
• If you don't mention any V/LAs but go 72 hours without posting, I will send you a prod. If you go another 24 hours without posting in the thread, I will search for another player (a player that isn't already in the game, obviously) to replace you.

Modkills:

• If you discuss other ongoing games in this thread, you will be modkilled or force replaced.
  
• If you discuss this game outside of the thread in a way that your role doesn't allow, then you will be modkilled.
  
• If you break any of the other general rules, you may be force replaced.
  
• If a player is mod-killed during the day, then the game will proceed as if that player had been lynched.

Game-specific:

• The setup consists of seven vanilla townies and five mafia goons.
  
• If a mafia-aligned player is lynched then the town earns one point. The mafia must night kill a town-aligned player during the following night.
  
• If a town-aligned player is lynched then the mafia earns one point. The mafia must night kill or betray one of their own members during the following night.
  
• The first team to earn three points wins.
  
• The town may decide to no-lynch. If they do, then mafia must either kill a town-aligned player or choose to not kill.
  
• The mafia do not have day talk.
