congratulations on your pedantry. yes, technically speaking, it would make more sense for someone who doesn't know if there is a vig in the setup to say "a vig" rather than "the vig" in this situation, but there is just no way that is a plausible scumslip. it's a minor grammatical error.

Why do you feel the need to comment on this before greygnarl? His response might have been interesting, yours is not.

Of course the most likely explanation to why he used the instead of a is just a grammatical mistake. But I wanted to hear that from him, if that was the case. Instead we get a white knight defending him.

If he is scum and think I am vig his thoughts may be “great, now I know who to kill”, but instead it ends up in something as generic as: “Calling bullshit on you being the vig.”, because he feels the need to comment on it, but can’t do it from a town mindset. Why is it important for him to point out that he don’t believe I am the vig? And why would he vote me if I am not the vig?

Im pretty sure the scum didnt get a layout of what roles were in the game. That would be stupid and I personally have never seen it happen. To imply something like that is the case in my opinion would only be used to cause confusion. Because of that I think Silver Beards case is a whole bunch of shit slinging and he is trying to cause confusion more than discussion.
