Also I was setup spec confirmed town and was deliberately playing scummy because I wanted to do my super AtE and get my claim out in the right way. I don't think I could have actually been lynched barring a surprise quickhammer. I thought my Sheldon Cooper fakeclaim was so good as well because everything could be justified.

Sticky: Sheldon has this ADD thing where he has to keep doing things like eating the same meals and drinking the same pajamas, targeting same person, etc.
Jailkeeper: I trap people into roommate agreements which keeps them safe in the room for the night but prevents them from acting.
Voyeur: Sheldon has a PHD and is well experienced in science and is able to determine the roles that visit his target.

Yes, and he was loud and influential and his scumreads got lynched. Adenine's scumreads didn't get lynched and he was slotted as scum and ignored the entire game.

I'm not saying it's Plotinus's fault, per se, I'm just saying that I'm just noticing a trend of the game coming down to the loudest, most influential, and most manipulative people, not necessarily the best people . I claim that I am a member of both categories, but what would I know (And since that varies from game to game not blaming anyone: just a thought)

I've won at least one 4v3 situation that I can recall.

The point is that towns in general are terrible at sorting genuine AtE from fake. Posturing and AtEing in extreme ways is the best way to win as scum right now because it always gets you townread. always.
I've still lost very few games as scum but all of them have had a point where I deliberately decided I was tired of making games personal and would rather lose than win in an unpleasant way.

The town did not do a good enough job of making themselves look town here and that's what cost us
I don't think any of the scum played particularly well really, they were all on the table for lynching at various points

I maintain my belief that ChilledTea's scumread on me was circumstantial, fleeting, bad, and that he would likely scumread me a lot as town and be equally sure.

Town lost because Adenine was figuring out the game but wasn't active or influential enough to get anything done even though he was scumreading at least 2 of us literally throughout the entire game but couldn't get anything done. Or in other words, town lost because the best townie was drowned out by the loudest one.

Point out 1 game where I scumread you when you were town.

Basically, I have a big theory post planned for MD at some point. Here's the crux of it.

1) Policy lynches need to be a thing. Not the kind of policy lynches that are currently considered policy lynches: policy lynches for entirely different reasons. More on this later. Very strict, metagame reason policy lynches.
2) People need to stop relying heavily on associative tells. Bussing is a thing and as time has gone on it has become more and more of a thing. Should not be townread.
3) Whether or not someone is trending correct should be a serious consideration in how much weight to give their reads.

Town didn't specifically play this game terrible. Towns in general are playing terrible because scum play has adapted ahead of town play. I have a solution.

I've played this terribly.
I should have replaced out weeks ago. I saw that I'd been unable to catch up properly. First because of working, then because of being on holiday, then work again. Yesterday I actually had time for this game but somehow the page didn't load.

This was a perfect example – which can be used by ICs too – for this: not only have you to figure out who the scum are, but also you have to persuade the town that you're right.
I wouldn't call myself "the best townie". Were I be so, this game wouldn't have been a perfect scum win.

And I don't think I'll join anything for a couple of weeks.

Continued with FA sjrviving for so long despite being sooo obvscum
And ended with sircakez being 4th scum and people thinking RC is conftown for some reason

Of course it wasn't, but I was V/LA, and most of my play in this game was in the ~hour before I was lynched, lol. I barely had any influence on the game afaik

Also the DGB lynch over cabd was terrible if anyone could remember the magnificent fakehammer he performed on D1.

I am sorry, but you lead a lynch on Ranger, so your reads were going to be put into question at least to some degree, so what does you changing your read on RC mean?

sure, but I was killed at the right moment; I was killed before my death would point anywhere, which is a difficult skill.

It's possible I was also killed because of my role: I had correctly guessed that I was a PT cop and knew that my innocents were true innocents.

It's possible I was killed because I wasn't likely to get lynched.

It doesn't really matter. I was killed the night before I would've lynched RC, whether it was intentional or not.

I can't find the specific reasons. We changed the target 2-3 times that night, RC made the choice. You can ask him if you like too.
