Rules

1. Obey all MafiaScum site rules and rules that are common to all mafia games. If you are unclear on what this means, see the site rules. I will not bother to list here any rules that are covered there.
2. My color is violet (#8040FF). Please do not use it.
3. Please use vote tags for votes to help me find them. If I think it's a vote, then it's a vote.
4. Please do not ask me questions in the thread. Use PMs. However, it's OK to point out any vote tabulation mistakes I make in-thread. I am bad at vote counts and I apologize for that in advance.
5. Prod timer is 48 hours without posting. If you do not respond or post within 24 hours of a prod I will search for a replacement. I may also search for a replacement if you chronically require prodding. A player who returns before I find a replacement is welcome so long as the replacement was for activity. Requested replacements may not be cancelled once I have posted it in the game thread.
6. If you know you may not be able to post for a period of time, please inform me via PM or post in this thread as to how long you expect to be unavailable. If you want to post about "limited access but I'll still be posting," you can, but I don't really care.
7. Claiming scum with another player in a manner that could be taken as serious is not allowed. If it is extremely clear that you are not serious, I am personally fine with that, but if you're not sure, just don't.
8. Day Deadlines in this game are 7 days long; 10 days for Day 1.
9. Eliminations in this game require a simple majority (50% rounded down plus one) of votes. If deadline is reached without any player getting enough votes, there will be no elimination and we will proceed to Night.
10. When a player is eliminated, they (as well as other living players) may continue to post until I lock the thread.
11. Once I declare you dead and flip your role, don't post unless your role specifically allows it.
12. Night phases last 48 hours. I will expedite this if all living players PM me stating their desire to end Night early.
13. Submit night actions to me via PM, or in your scum PT if you are scum. Scum players may submit actions for each other; if there is a disagreement about the use of powers other than the factional kill, the player whose ability it is wins.
14. I can provide a personal PT for you to take notes in if you wish. Just PM me. I will not release notes PTs without your permission. Please don't submit any night actions there as I will probably not read them.
15. If all living players PM me stating their desire to declare the game a draw, the game will be a draw.
16. Don't try to exploit any loopholes in these rules.

You are a Traitor: a mafia-aligned player without access to the mafia chat or nightkill. You know that the Mafia is composed of

, and your goal is to help them win. The Mafia knows that a Traitor exists but does not know your identity.

At night, you may choose another player to give a 1-shot Cop ability or a 1-shot Rolecop ability to. You may choose the reliability of your Cop inventions from these options: Reliable (i.e. gives correct results), Inverse (i.e. gives incorrect results), Naive (i.e. always returns innocent), or Cynical (i.e. always returns guilty). Submit the desired reliability along with your invention target.

Alternatively, you may invent a Rolecop ability. This allows the user to learn a target's role, but not alignment.

You are also a Thief. Instead of creating an invention, you may choose to steal all items from a target (inventions are items). Any items they already possess (unless used on that night) as well as any items they would receive on this night become yours. You may use them on future nights if you desire. You will learn what items you receive. Players who lose existing items will be notified, but if you steal an item they were going to receive that night, they will not learn that the item was ever in their possession.

If you, personally, are able to survive until ???, the mafia will get a special benefit as a reward. As you can see in your neighborhood, your fellow neighbors know that there is a time-sensitive bonus, but they do not know that it activates on ??? specifically.

You do not have any special protection against the Mafia nightkill.

You are an Announcing Fortune Teller. You have access to three different mystical abilities, of which you may use one each night. They are not one-shot, though you may not use the same ability on consecutive nights. Be careful, brave diviner, for there are sinister forces at play in the mystical world...

Past

: Track a player on a PREVIOUS night. You are still considered to be targeting them on this night. You will attempt to learn whom, if anyone, that player visited on the night you choose. If you are snarglefargled while using this ability, the current action will still go through, but you will permanently lose the ability.

Present

: Choose a player and submit a guess ("read") as to what action types they will be targeted by tonight. The action types are investigative, protective, killing, manipulative (e.g. roleblock), snarglefargle, and other (e.g. neighborize). If your psychic reading is correct, you rolestop the target, causing all other actions on them to fail. There is no need to account for your own ability in the reading. If your reading is incorrect, instead you will learn what action types were used on your target.

Future

: Redirect a player on a FUTURE night. Choose a player (A) and choose another player (B) to direct them to; on the night you chose, A's action will target B instead of what they submitted, provided that both A and B are still alive. This ability fails if A is snarglefargled on the night you use this. A's ability will fail instead of being redirected if B is snarglefargled on the future night. In the event a role you target with this has multiple targets, you alter only the first target. If this targets a multitasking player using several abilities, all abilities are redirected.

Your target will be notifed that they received a reading of their past/present/future from an announcing fortune teller.
