I'm noting Dan's repeated statement of intent to have us massclaim in such a weird manner. This Political Figure mechanic, as I said, could be anything on a sliding scale from the players who have powers to just being a bunch of Earls. Regardless of where that falls in between, I'm not certain the idea will help us out because there are so many ways scum can use knowledge of who is and isn't a PF to their advantage. PF's could be among scum. They would know what it does and be able to prey upon the knowledge of who is and isn't a PF. What do we get? WIFOM. I thought Dan was town with the wrong idea of going about his claim, but now that I think about it like that,

I thought Fujiko was obvscum? I have a feeling that you're trying to sneak away from what you posted earlier, and that doesn't look good in my book.

And Dan? I think he's town. There seems to be a genuine town motivation behind outing himself at this stage. He's confused though and I'm not sure it was the right choice to claim. So let him be, because he's probably town and we don't want to give scum more information.

Just my two cents here, Fujiko looks like slightly bewildered town to me, not scum, but I seem to be at odds with the majority here.

^before anyone takes this as license to hammer I still want to argue for the PF Massclaim when I have some time tonight.

PG's paragraph is exactly the kind of thing I want to discuss, since there are obvious and imo stronger counter-points as to why it's better to not waste any time and MC today.

I haven't noticed the actual case presented directly, so I'm just gauging by fujiko's posts here. I'll take another look to find the case. Sorry.

Umbrage looks obnoxious. This tends to cloud my judgment a bit, but I'd say that he is making sense if nothing else. Maybe leaning scum a tad.

Making sense is indeed a town tell to me, but being obnoxious is a scum tell to me too, and I'm not sure how they cancel out. Plus, in previous games, making sense as a town tell has caused me to make stupid votes up to and including in lylo, so I trust me about as far as I can throw myself on that one.

A new headline broke.

Fujiko, a congressman famous for sending seemingly indiscriminate dicktexts - notable especially because she professed to be a woman - was at it again. She had embroiled Congress in one too many sexual scandals and the public had had enough. Politicians and public alike rose against her to put an END to the dicktexts!

"I was just a political aid," sniveled Fujiko's newest victim. "She sent me this text, and I was so stupid - I ... I opened it. It said 'SURPRISE!' and it had a picture of this ... this thing, and she said it was her dick but I don't even --" And with that, the hapless political aid dissolved into sobs.

Fujiko was kicked out of office.

"Damn," she swore. "My trusty guide finally failed me..."

She crumpled up the following paper and threw it on the ground:
