@kats my vote was just a normal rvs-y pressure vote. Bulba's page 1 and 2 posting is the kind of offbeat/jumpy/posturey that I tend to townread, but I expect more experienced players to come off as more collected though so I didn't know what to make of his posting. His recent posts make me feel more comfortable townreading him, I don't see scum openly panicking about being voted this early in the game, especially when most of the votes don't seem serious

Before we start the leadership vote, I have something to say.

The leader has the power to execute any player in the game, effective at the end of the Day. There is a condition that mykonian coded in flavor. Having thought about this, it's better if I outline it so that an actual leadership choice can be made. That condition is that executing the wrong person can lead to disfavor among a group that I can safely assume are town. Up until yesterday morning, I had assumed that it meant that I would potentially die along with my target if I had happened to target town, but that does not make sense balance-wise. It makes far more sense that I take the hit if I execute incorrectly but confirm town.

What this means is:

(1) Vote for the player whose alignment is under question. If my guess about this is correct, scum cannot risk using the execution vote.
(2) Force the leader to announce the execution and carry it out. Lynch the following day if the leader does not comply.

Alternatively, we could vote for the player whose reads are the most likely to be accurate and force them to execute but without necessarily directing their decision. However, this method will lose skillful town players, and that's not a good idea.

If it is not already obvious, I chose to abstain.

I wasn't really getting defensive there. I thought it was absurd that he was trying to paint it like I had no reason to change my opinion on him when there was plenty of content to go on. This is where he really started pinging me, as I was never buddying him but that seemed to the main point he had against me (a theme that followed through pretty much everything that he said about me).
