We understood and accepted the very slim likelihood of everyone dying.

I thought I screwed up and town actually won lol. That would have been impressive.

But yeah. If there were three people on day eight and there was a no lynch, even if Jason killed someone, they would both die and one townie would remain

So some background and thoughts.
I saw this game and thought "I like the anime, let's do this". I was worried I'd get a flavor I didn't remember, but I got Rem, the Shinigami who watched over Misa. I figured my role would be set on town, and a decent role at that. So I almost slipped out of rage when I saw people suggesting Misa as scum, and seeing Rem there wasn't any help. When Narna got on my case for defending Hark, I ended up deciding to soft my role by saying I like to defend. He then got cheeky and asked me to defend her, and I said we'll see. The next important point I'd like to address were the wagons on Creature, JW, and Nero. The Creature wagon pissed me off because some people were being a bit too pushy, especially Nero. This is what caused me to scumread Nero. BTW Nero turned into a bab in the Dead PT and said he was the towniest player, which is a damn lie: I feel Basic did a better job being towny. The next big wagon was JW, and he claimed Vig, but everyone assumed SK. I don't get how he wasn't lynched D7, especially with that bullshit idea of two Secondary mafia he was selling. The final big wagon was Nero. Kraska made herself a scumread to me by being reallt pushy about lynching not-Nero, and then she claimed masons with him. AC also posted the stupid theory about a bunch of people who were pushing Nero being likely buddies, which was really scummy. Then Nero claimed cop, which I felt was a form of scumclaim. By having two roles assiciated with him he pretty much became confscum. I also really suspected kraska at this point due to the mason fakeclaim. If scum hadn't killed her she would have been an easy ML.
I think this about covers Day 1. Day 2 thoughts sometime.

I feel like you're just saying that because you got spoiled. If you were still in the game in, say, Basic's place, you would still be hunting for Nero's buddies. I know I was hunting for them until I saw IaI flip town and figured out what was happening.

No, kraska was pretty obvious town. I understand how fakeclaim makes you think scum, but you have to be less shallow; there are certain types of town players who do such things.

Yeah
That's why I'm going to be skeptical of any mason claims by kraska from now on.

No, because there was still an SK/vig alive. Say for example, that Mew and Ank were team2, and town lynched Mew; then Jason shoots Ank. Scumteam 2 doesn't win, despite being 2:2.

No: the rules generally state that ONCE A SCUMTEAM ACHIEVES A SIMPLE MAJORITY they win.

no, what you should do is understand people's character and try to figure out their motivations for doing things.
For example, it was easy to figure out that kraska was overconfident town who had a huge townread on Nero and wanted to save him.
Don't associate scummy actions with scum; associate scum motivation with scum.

That's generally the case because once scum have the same number alive as non-scum they control the lynch and they can force a no-lynch and win. In this case that wasn't the case like I demonstrated.

Gamma, anyone with two brain cells knew the mason claim was fake and I even said so. Creature was still scum. Credit where credit is due but it was SirCakez and someone else that meta scum read him and after reading his ISO I was more than understanding of why he could be scum so you and Basic scum reading me for scumreading scum is a fail on your part.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Like there is no reason while the game was running to assume that a simple majority won the game.

Been rewatching the series and noted that the victory of Mello is rather fitting, seeing as he beat Near in the end
