The singular bastard mechanic is related to the factional ability of the groupscum faction; there will be a special mechanic involving a part of their role's flavour which players may pick by sending me their top three picks from a predetermined list of 15 during signups (though this is not mandated and players who don't send any picks will have that part of the flavour randomised)
