- Special picking stage (pregame): All players will receive a single human and single demon role pm that they must choose from, after distributing alignments. Even discarded roles can matter!
- Master breathing techniques and blood demon arts to activate your skills and change the game's fate.
- Breathing techniques will require stamina to be activated, and blood demon arts will require blood.

After everyone received their alignment, players will pick between a human and demon character (that they receive randomly between all human and demon flavors available). This defines their skills (breathing techniques and the blood demon arts), and so much more!

Many skills will act differently when targeting humans or demons.

Breathing Techniques

Mainly for humans, breathing techniques are swordsmanship styles practiced and taught by members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Each breathing technique is an ordinary skill that the demon slayer can use at their discretion in an appropriate game phase. They need to keep in mind that these skills will require stamina and they need to wait for a few phases before they are ready to cast it again afterward.

Determined demon slayers would like to train to upgrade their breathing techniques to reduce their stamina cost, or increase their effects. Not everyone can endure such hard training, however!

Blood demon arts are extremely powerful magical skills that demons use when they are powerful enough. To gain power demons need to obtain blood. for every person that dies in the game, all demons in the game receive 1 blood. If they are directly involved with kill (if they hammer or kill the slot directly with any skill) they gain 2 bloods instead.
