No. She was the main character up until about 2011, but then A-1 Pictures (the studio that makes the anime) started receiving anonymous threats demanding she be removed from the series, so they killed her off in what turned out to be one of the most touching episodes that's been produced to date. Many manly tears were shed that day.
Now the main character is a giant catfish.
This is part of the reason KanColle is slowly replacing Touhou. Catfish aren't moe.

I heard that the recent novel/movie "50 Shadowehs of Grey" was based off the relationship between Tenshi and Yuuka from the Touhou series. Does this mean that people who like Touhou are into leather?
Has ZUN made a statement about the claims that he traced the majority of his artwork? I mean we all know how generic the artwork for the characters in the Touhou series are.
Well, yeah, of course he traced them. It's no coincidence that there were originally 151 Touhou characters and a lot of them are based on youkai (which is Japanese for pokemon).
