Shady ground. I've seen people modkilled for it.

TBH, something like that can really bite you in the ass. Not only do you have invisible modes, you also have people sending their choices in by IM, maybe sending a preliminary choice before the night starts, etc. It could just so easily go wrong, and there's no way to tell how misled you are.

Sounds tricksy until someone points out that, as out-of thread communication, someone really should have been modkilled, AND WHY HAVEN'T THEY BEEN!

Then you go 'um I dunno', mod doesn't back you up, and you get lynched.
