Try recruiting older players, if the kiddies aren't interested. Wake brought a few of us over from another site, I'm likely the oldest player here (I've got grandkids.) We love the game.

Those of you with card game versions, take the cards to Xmas dinner at the relatives', get some of the cool aunts & uncles to play a short game. If you're on a non-related messageboard, ask the mod if you can have a little game forum (that's what Wake did.) Once they learn how to play decently enough, send them here.

Interesting that peak usage came during the peak of the global financial collapse. Apparently this game is a healthy outlet for the unemployed/forced idle crowd.

Perhaps marketing it to those that can't get out of the house to do other things, like patients facing long-term recovery periods, and fixed-income retirees might be an idea.

Could the day phases be shortened to no more than 10 days? After 7 - 10 days I get bored. 21 days is too long.

Games would finish faster if the deadlines were shortened.

When the game gets down to 5 or 6 players, 21 days is way too long.
