I haven't tested it, but I assume it must handle quoted votes correctly?

Nice work.

In post 23, callforjudgement wrote:If the script is very sure that a particular comment is for a particular vote or unvote, it will automatically default to that (the player name needs to be spelled exactly right, although case doesn't matter, and be in a standard format like vote: callforjudgement, unvote, vote callforjudgement or VOTE: callforjudgement), so that in the obvious cases, the mod won't have to do the quality check (the quality check is still required in the case that the player misspells or abbreviates the name, though, or uses an unusual format).

Would it be possible to allow for aliasing of names? For instance, if people are constantly abbreviating a name the same way, like
Vote: cfj
, you could quality check it once and designate all future votes for cfj to automatically be counted as votes for callforjudgment.

@Mr. Flay: It won't count anything inside a quote tag as eligible for potentially being a vote. (There is one caveat I should point out with this: if someone accidentally screws up their quote tags, the script will get confused when you fix them, unless you change all the dropdowns in the post to "Not a vote"
before
you fix it; you can change them to the correct value afterwards.)

@maxwell: I think putting the name in the replacement list should work, although I'm not 100% certain about that.

Running this on Chrome isn't working, even with Tampermonkey. I'm not getting a drop down box, it's not accurately counting votes when I click the "count votes to here" link, and the pop-up box isn't copy/pasteable.

Also will this work for VOTE: tags as well?

VOTE: tags look, from the script's point of view, like someone had painstakingly written all the same formatting out by hand, so it triggers on them just the same as on
tags. (There
are
differences, but there's no reason to bother specifically looking for them.)

Looks like I might have to try messing around with the script in Chrome to see what's wrong, but not right now.

this works.

great extension, the actual vote counting in votecounts usually isn't much trouble but formatting everything can be time-consuming and this takes the work out of it.

I love you for this. Make it better in chrome then make more things.
