How much Mafia can you handle?

Depends. Assuming a 40 hour work week and decent social life leaving a few hours a day, maybe 3-5.

4: How many games can you yourself handle?
Between one and three I think although it varies. If games are moving slowly, i feel like I need another. However, if I'm in a fast paced game or a large, that one game is more than enough.

5: Whats the largest amount of games you have been in?
Probably about 18. Clearly, times have changed for me. When I graduated high school and went to college, I spent a ton of my time on mafiascum. I didn't have a car, so I didn't really go anywhere and this was my time killer between classes which could mean 2-3 hours at a time over a maybe 8am-5pm day. Even once I got my car, I got used to being on here and most of my friends had moved to other towns. Then I met new friends and eventually moved into an apartment with my now fiance and we didn't have internet (still don't). I became a phone poster (still am). And I'm more comfortable with just a game or two, maybe three rather than as many as possible to fill all my time.

I'm currently in zero games, and haven't signed up for any games either. The greatest number of games I can handle is two (which is also the most number of games I've been in at once), and even then, I severely struggle; that also requires me to be online more than I can manage currently. I think most people can't be properly involved in more than about two games at a time (preferably with little to no overlap of players).

3 games, soon to be 4 whenever the confirmation stage ends. It's weird; it's like I have an addiction to reading role PMs.

At optimal play, I'd say 2. I feel like once you get to 3 or 4 or 5, the player seriously starts getting overwhelmed.

Same as above, I think, but I totally do way more. I'm usually playing at least 4 at the same time.

7. the worst part was, that 5 of them were slots I replaced into; It was during christmas break, and I was just so bored with the few I was playing, so I replaced into three minis, two large themes, and a micro. I was also ICing a newbie game at the time.


So yea. It's becoming a problem actually, because I feel as if I'd play much better if I just focused on one or two games, instead of, you know, six. What I've been doing lately is sort of rotating them; That is to say I join a bunch of games, but focus on the ones that are in later stages or have more to do, until those go into a night phase or end. That's when I move on to the next group which i'd been lurking in, and hardcore focus on that.

That's probably not a good way of doing it but I'm totally going to keep doing it.

I can do 3-4 games without losing my mind, but I never feel like I'm at my best in any of them.

When I limit myself to one game, that game gets all my focus, and I think I play better.
