I have some questions about what counts as a full game of player experience (NOT mod experience).

Do Micros count as a full game?

If a game gets abandoned, can it count as a full game if it reached a certain length before abandonment?

If you replace-out, can you count it if you were in the game for a certain length of time before replacing out? Would the reason for replacing out make a difference (force-replaced vs voluntary replacement)?

Can you count an ongoing game if you've already died and flipped?

as a player or as a mod? assuming you mean as a player, the answer is yes, yes, no, no.

Some mods have a game requirement to join their games.

Each mod is going to be subjective about what they count. If you're borderline/unsure, pm them and ask. If you're showing that kind of interest, mods are more likely to overlook if you don't quite meet their criteria.

Yeah, it's completely up to the game mod. For example, right now, in the newbie queue, you need two Micros to count as one game's worth of experience to

play

and three Micros to

mod

. (That said, this policy was before my time, and I've been lax at enforcing this because revamps are happening soon.)

Isn't the whole point of the newbie queue that people can play their first game there? I feel like there are words missing (like maybe "as an SE" or the like).

I'm talking about for SE/IC status, saulres. (According to the current ruleset, 2 micros = 1 regular game for the purpose of counting how many games you've played--e.g., 3 for SEs and 5 for ICs, ignoring additional restrictions. But for satisfying modding requirements, you'd need the equivalent of three micros to replace one game.)
