For instance, here is one possible reason we should lynch lurkers, but find it so g_d damned difficult:

Sociologists have found that we love certainty — even if its counter productive. Thus the zero-risk bias.

the best thing about this thread is that the title starts with: "relevant".

The longer I think about it the more hilarious the title becomes.
