my origional interest in mafia was purely political and psychological. i wanted to understand how to manipulate other peoples decisions, and how to see when i am being manipulated. influence, intrigue, interpersonal psychology... how does the hive mind work and why?
i feel like i have mastered much of this, but am continually surprised about how the hive-mind evolves over time. not only in individual games, but over the course of several. the "meta" (in a group sense, not an individual sense) of how to think and perceive.
and here i am, planting myself into a new format of the same game... a whole new world, i can start over and see all these things develop from a fresh perspective... but its all the same... it will always be different. mafia is the most dynamic game ever conceived.
now that i have determined that all is relative to circumstance... my new fetish is creating unique circumstances. style.- Tere

you can't trademark the A teams saying.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I've always been someone that likes to analyze people. It came naturally not being much of a speaker, I was never confident during my time in School, very shy kid. I'm not as shy now, but back then I was really really bad. Due to not communicating with people much, aside from my close group of friends. I often spent a lot of time analyzing different people. What kind of person they were like from how they acted, dressed etc even without speaking to them.
This sounds really creepy when I type it out, but I think we all do it or have done it at some point or another. You make a guess at what someone's like or what their story might be without even meeting them personally or only briefly. This sort of ties in to what I love about Mafia, analyzing people's motives, who they side with, why they say what they say. My only problem when playing is I hold back more than I should due to being anxious, even though I should just let my thoughts flow regardless, even if I sound silly whilst doing it.- BROseidon
