Please allow alts in GTKAS

currently none of my accounts access the speakeasy. I am not sure if I will give any of my accounts access as i'm certain it contains nsfw content that i may want to avoid accidentally viewing while at work. I gave rogers access as a means of avoiding temptation while at work when f62 was around. I hid it from my main pokerface account and never used rogers while at work

Will all accounts be able to post in GTKAS or will it be treated like the speakeasy where only 1 account can post per person?

I rather like being able to make time travel and neighbor jokes. If I got to change out accounts and access every time I do it, I don't think i'll be making those jokes in the future. Is there any means at which I can give Pokerface, Time Traveler, and Mr. Rogers all GTKAS access only?

Also out of curiosity why are things being changed at all? If it ain't broke don't fix it, what was broke?

As to changing it to restricted access, there were a number of issues that came up where people had access to it and used that information to harass our users. That's not to say the change totally protects anyone, but it does limit the possibilities, particularly of banned users being able to get personal information about a user.

As to the alt rule, you are more than welcome to campaign for a change to it.

That sounds fair to me then. I respect your decision on that basis. I had guessed that was the concern

How should I go about campaigning for the alt change? Who all do I have to convince?

The biggest people to convince are the GD Mods: Glork, Kublai Khan, Vi, Untrod Tripod, Bipolar Chemist. If I were you, I'd stick to changing the alt policy for GTKAS in particular rather than to the Speakeasy as a whole.

I am fine with the speak easy having those restrictions. Allowing alts to GTKAS is all I want

I completely support the decision to not allow alts to speakeasy given some issues that could arise there. That decision should make things more manageable for mods to better avoid those issues

But I would like for alts to be able to access GTKAS. I kinda want the opportunity and flexibility to make time travel and neighbor jokes with my alts without having to request access from mods every time i want to switch account. I am sure i am not only one that wants there alt to access GTKAS for one reason of another. So post with your thoughts and poll opinion so we can see if we can get allts allowed in GTKAS

I don't particularly see the point of either, but I think keeping GTKAS alt free is more important than keeping SE alt free.
