You know, people think it's pretty easy to imitate me.
But in actuality.

It's pretty damn hard.

It's easy enough to make a

caricature

of me.
But aside from the knowledge which only I have of me (both online and offline), and aside from the posting habits only I have (frequency, location, and very importantly, timing), there's all the subtle nuances of how I speak and whatnot which are pretty much impossible to replicate...especially since the way I DO speak depends largely on my mindset at the time. I can respond to the same situation one second with snark and the next with a ramble and the only difference would be the wiring within my brain. (Which is, y'know. Kinda...weird.)

It all has to do with my internal voice, and what is most influencing me, but that's a subject for a blog post. (Which, hey, I can actually do today!)

I used to enjoy the game a lot and I'm a fairly decent player, but with the addition of school and all the work I have to do I don't have much time to afford to play the game.

I really like playing at Night, because I don't have to worry too much about posting and if I have an action then sweet I can deduce how I can help my team.

And then when I'm inactive, everybody just accuses me and says that I'm lurking when I explain that i've been incredibly busy...

Somebody tell me how I get this to be fun again because I don't think this game is very fun now.

But in seriousness, I also think the novelty factor kinda dies after awhile too. Mafia isnt as much fun as when I first began for instance.

It matters not how much time I really have though unless I'm really behind in a game.

It's become more fun for me over time because I suck slightly less now

Let me say this, Ness. You do seem like a good player, if most of your content from the beginning was from your side. I will say that you could have given the town reason to not lynch you. You just were too unhelpful. People were begging for your reads, and then you say 'oops I just typed them out but oh well can't now '. Like I read you as town but there was nothing I could do to save you. I was pushing scum.

So I think your weakness in that game was not understanding what you needed to do to help the town understand you. Obviously, being busy with school stopped you from being active and involved, which in turn hurt your game-play. You basically came in 14 minutes to deadline, you have to understand some people thought that was opportunistic. Instead of giving some reads you omgused Billy who was town.

Anyway now you know, try to set some time aside for mafia. I highly suggest not playing during school. Either it affects your play like it did in our game, or it'll affect your grades like it usually has for me.

By the way I was pissed that your mislynch happened. Like we had obvious lurker scum with TWO POSTS and people went for you. GAH

I just don't think i'm going to play a lot of mafia anymore, i'll probably come in from time to time but I have too much work these days. As a result of that work I just end up having no time to play the game and I just end up not even helping my team. Its just completely counter-intuitive.

Another big component of it is probably because I can be a complete d!ck when I play mafia. I just feel really bad whenever I do something because I have a nasty temper that just makes me look like a brat.

I'd like to take a moment to say I'm actually really sorry about everything I've done on this website, if I play again on here i'll try to actually play instead of flaking out.
