Pregame
11)
Before the game starts, everyone is asked to confirm receipt of their role PM by PMing the mod the name of their role and faction. People who are slow in confirming risk being replaced.
12)
The thread will be unlocked and Day 1 will start as soon as all but two players have confirmed.
Day
13)
Votes to lynch a player must be in bold and begin

, but use of the vote tags is optional. A vote for a name not technically on the living player list counts as valid as long as it is clear to the mod who you meant to vote for.
14)
You may also vote to end the day with “no lynch” or “unvote” to remove an active vote. Unvoting before switching your vote is entirely optional.
15)
The deadline for each day is
two weeks
. The day will end with nobody lynched if there is never a majority of votes cast for a single lynch option during this period.
16)
The day will end before the deadline as soon as a majority of players are voting to lynch a player, or if a majority are voting for no lynch. A majority means strictly more than half of the living players.
Twilight
17)
The period of the game between the day ending and the mod posting to announce that night has begun (or that the game has ended) is called “twilight”.
18)
During twilight, no new votes can be cast and old votes from the previous day cannot be changed. However, everyone (including any lynched player) is still free to post on the thread.
Night
19)
Night starts as soon as day ends and the mod posts to confirm that the game is still ongoing. At this point the thread will be locked.
20)
All nights will last (just over)
48 hours
. Any actions sent in after this period will not count. All actions should either be PMed to the mod or made in bold in a QT the mod has access to. The mod will attempt to confirm all action requests as soon as possible.
21)
Once night has ended, the mod will post a scene to announce the start of the next game day (or to announce the end of the game).
Endgame
22)
The game ends once a faction has achieved its winning conditions and the mod has posted on the thread to confirm this.
