I usually keep track of votes in some manner, but that's going to be tedious in this game (with the multi-vote thing, because I use players names to verify each one appears and appears only once, which is not applicable here).

Also, did anyone double-check with the mod already about how the "no resetting votes" work? Because it could be that one elimination leads to multiple eliminations in sequence here. (ex: someone hits 8 votes with someone else @7, so the first one gets eliminated and then the lynch threshold is now 7 and it results in the second person also getting eliminated.)

First; pressure votes never work if you outright say they're for pressure. Second; this is no ordinary game, and -as long as someone else is alead- nobody actually feels "pressured" (unless they're close enough to get eliminated once the leading wagon does hit the threshold). To elaborate: When you votes someone in an ordinary game it means your vote is OFF everyone else. That's one less vote towards the threshold. Here, you could be voting EVERYONE, and it makes no difference (it works as if we all became hated).

Rushing the first elimination is almost always one. It denies people the chance to develop their reads and consider different possibilities. If it was up to me I'd say we eliminate around the 6th day and then every 18-24 hours from then on, but I don't own the thread and I can't force my theories on everyone else.

Pressure votes do work in this game actually. Votes aren't reset after a dunk. So, the person knows that vote is there to stay until they can do something that gets it removed.

You're not oldgurad, but we obviously do have a playstyle clash all the same.

I am voting hb for inconsistencies and vague postings (agreeing to a TR on someone w/o elaborating what exactly they agree). mainly check my 329, 330 & 331. Nobody said anything about it being a conditional read!!!

I was voting Marks mainly for his vote on IV with the remark that we needed to eliminate/dunk someone ASAP.

I voted Nono for the vote on IV too, plus every other post of theirs just rubs me the wrong way (take the "I wanna hammer" troll for instance, or their vote on me in 368, just off the top of my head)

Finally, WLC I was voting for what appears to me now as a clash in playstyles. I also had assumed he was much more experienced than he really is (although if we go just by total post count he's look like 4-5 times as experienced as you are, adespite the fact you both have really old accounts)

You misunderstand. Hiraki got me right. It is 8 to dunk now. Once someone has been dunked it becomes 7 to dunk (13 players after one dunk). If someone is sitting @L-1 NOW they will be automatically dunked next because THE VOTES WILL STAY THE SAME. The ONLY way they don't get dunked is if the first person dunked was voting them (That was they still are @L-1 because the dead player's vote had been auto-revoked).

Theoretically, we could put EVERYONE @L-1 NOW, and then we can hammer one person, and we will all fall down like dominoes from then on.

IV is on all dunks so far (bad), but he was first on Wey and had plenty of time to change that if he wanted to avoid that dubk (good). IMHO, the "good" outweighs the "bad" here, so I think IV is a townie who has been misplaying (or has been having bad reads), This is supported by the fact he is voting nobody (as of the post I'm responding to) which means he realized his reads have not been accurate and is reconsidering. I can fully understand a townie who had a boost from a red flip and got too confident to also lead a misdunk, then trying to be more of a team player (wasn't leading either of the last 2 misdunks) and then taking a deep breath to reevaluate.

Marksman also was early on Wey. He was late on Hayaska, not on hb and appears again on Elements. On surface he should appear even more townie to me than IV is, but I somehow find IV a bit townier and I don't even know why. Still a TR though.

Casey was on the scum dunk and only one of the 3 misdunks. I don't think I need to explain why that appears to be a town slot based on that.

Nono is another slot that appears on all dunks so far, but -unlike IV- she was late to the party on Wey. She also hammered twice (hb & Elements) and appears to have adopted this shtick to disclaim responsibility of her votes. "I saw a hammer and I took it". Looks bad to me.

You (Chemical) I have explained why you also look bad despite not having been on Elements (which probably happened too fast for you to hop on, maybe?). That leaves Lavender as the odd slot that doesn't appear on ANY dunk (aside from my own slot that is) and I can't tell what she's doing/thinking given that I dunno how her scum game looks like. That's a true null here (would have been a town lean in any "normal" game).

If I had to make a team, I'd be throwing darts. Probably Marksman/Isis/Lavender but again, throwing darts.

We have been throwing darts all game long now, and I'm afraid paranoia has already crept on me I can see almost anyone flipping red (Ironically, Casey is now my top TR).

Like, everybody has been ruling out IV (and even I did so based on him being early on Wey), but after 6 dunks I find myself second guessing that read. Why does IV appear on each and every dunked wagon?

As I said, I can probably see almost anyone -aside from Casey- as scum, but we all know we only have 3 scums alive; not SIX.

The funny thing is even when I take a step back and look at why X could be scum compared to why Y could also be scum I dunno if I should laugh or cry, because my reasoning appear contradictory even to me.

Picture this thought going through your mind:

IV could be scum because he's on each and every dunk
Lav could be scum because she hasn't been on a single dunk

Can you see my dilemma? I dunno if scum are helping town misdunk or letting town do all the dirty work.

Nice comeback @town. I was most sincere about not being vote happy though. There were times when we needed only one additional (town on town) vote for us to end the game instantly.

@Ruby: Yeah, that was fun. NGL, but if we didn't lose a member on the first dunk we could have pulled it out still. Like, that vote we needed could've come from our 4th buddy too.

True. There were times when I wanted to yell at you to spread your votes like everyone else. I'm pretty sure we could've used a couple of votes from you on town right after Raya replaced in and that slot also became active and voting. You probably were the unknown town soldier that kept us from taking you all by surprise.
