while i don't have full context and i'm not gonna read unless this game is somehow not cruise control to a win, i did look at both flipped scum and they were both potatoes to the point where i would not be terribly surprised if their partner felt obligated to bus and wound up on both wagons as a later vote

That makes a limited amount of sense. Though, with A50 it was a strong player replacing into a lurkslot, so they could have thought that he could turn it around, and with Gypyx, bussing him was basically throwing because it's very likely that this is now unwinnable for scum.

sometimes momentum is inevitable and there aren't other wagons, but yes this is likely a mech lock so long as people don't get dumb

i just think the view that it wasn't a double bus feels rather naive, it's happened twice before on this setup with the remaining scum going on to win, both scum here were playing like shit and from my outside perspective bussing them was the only sensible thing to do. we'll see how the claims shake out i guess but i do want to issue a warning so people don't slide into lazy thinking

up to page 32, the game is a very weird one because it was mostly a bunch of town talking to each other and scum doing nothing and i'm not sure how much can be gleaned off of all this

you'll have to ask whoever did it postgame but my guess is if they killed and didn't hit jk/rb, it's 10 alive with a player cleared and they have to dodge an execution and another roleblock. here they get a free execution and only have to avoid being blocked night 3 and that would be much easier. yeah that relies on them assuming there has to be one of those prs, but seems reasonable to assume that might be the scenario. i dunno.

just to check the numbers, if the game doesn't end today:

if smart dies we have 9 alive with 5 clear if datisi gets an inno which is a lock (also a lock on a guilty obv)
if datisi dies we have 9 alive with 4 clear (me+clover+grumpy+worst), we eliminate someone and either smart clears someone the next night, leading to at least 4 clear with 7 alive, or there is no kill which leaves 8 alive with 4 clear. we eliminate someone again, if another no kill we have 4 clear with 7 alive, if there is a kill we still have 4 clear with 6 alive.
