I really think I'd just happily take an andante mislim in that scenario, it's not like I wouldn't be able to make that pivot.

the majority of the opinions on the table aren't "I think fire/andante are scum because of ????? and we should lim fire/andante" most of the opinions are "I think fire/andante is town because of ???? and thus we should lim the other person instead"


and I feel like that's a very common opinion to express for scum in a t/t standoff because you kind of win either way

i think i would feel more comfortable drawing such a conclusion if ~half of this game wasn't lurky or outright nonpresent

that, coupled with a possibility that scum can be positioned so they have to pick their partner between fire/andante and thus not wanting to do it, makes me feel like we can't just conclude both fire/andante are town because the gamestate

? I wouldn't be drawing that conclusion if the game felt very engaged in picking who the elim was between fire/andante. it's the fact that people don't feel very engaged that is making me question this choice of elims.

some people like to take thread control and force their elims thru

some like to hide

i had a thought yesterday how andante has been more energetic during day 2 than what i'd expect scum!andante to be this game. my logic was, if scum!andante just tried the wacky-ass strategy of saving penguin d1 with that hail mary counterwagon, penguin flipped anyway, and people were mostly townreading andante on entrance to d2, then i think it's more likely scum!andante decides to play d2 a bit more quietly rather than drawing possible attention to herself. i feel like scum wouldn't want to risk having people turn the "too scummy to be scum" read into "actually just scum" read, and the usual way of achieving that is posting a little bit less than needed

(maybe kind of like s_s did. yes i'm aware that s_s being low-impact isn't a good way to gauge if he's scum, shut)

i don't know if this applies to scum!andante specifically, but it feels correct enough, coupled with my earlier townread of her, that i wanna keep her in my "in case of emergency, break glass" townread tier along with enchant
