On Gamma vs. everybody: I'm just not feeling Gamma's wagon. I don't trust Bear or Junko atm, pengy is always a question mark. On top of that I don't know what is happening with Gamma lately but they seem troubled and it's coming through as aggressive exasperation over and over again in games lately. It's NAI and honestly hard to read around.

It might just be because I'm refreshing the page every hour or so, but I feel like I'm waiting... and I don't know what for. So here's where my head's at regarding each person, and in general what I remember about each.

Dann

has this aww shucks energy to him that comes across as just happy to be here. He acknowledges his lack of interest in engaging with mechanics to solve and just as recently as this page acknowledges the weakness of his vote. This is a good place to vote.

Penguin

is not a puzzle I'm ever confident I can crack, and I recently failed in that regard. Hoping mechanics clear him for me. Nice vote though.

NK15

has a different energy here than the last game in played with them, but I replaced into elo there so maybe that was just a stressful situation. I like that their opinions are blooming like a flower here, and I also like how assertive they're being. If the stuff he's saying now looks bad later with more flips, I'll revisit. For now I don't wanna vote it.

78 and 79 paint dann as this like, "I've got my shit together" kinda guy when it comes to setups and approaching townreads and scumreads, but then his approach to Porkens, nk15, and his general attitude toward power role discussion makes him look.... inconsistent. Like he's discussing things as they come up but doesn't have a core thread of scumhunting, or even truly critical thinking, underneath.

I also have thought in general that the way he's approaching this game is not very curious. He doesn't really seem to care about what anyone's alignment is. If I look at 386, it feels like Johnny is viewing the game as categorizing people into boxes of whether it would look good to vote there or not. I don't necessarily take issue with the "good place or bad place to vote" sort of style, what is scummy is the focus on the optics.

I mean, I've just been doing this lately? I'm a shit scum hunter 9/10 times, especially on d1, so i tend to focus on where I'm comfortable voting and voice those opinions somewhat often so people can discuss with me if desired.

I also think the hedging on Yume because Yume claimed a role isn't really a town mindset. I don't think town should be acting "afraid" of killing roles in this setup. This feels like someone approaching the setup from the wrong side.

And I think she placed an intentionally weak vote on JunkoChan at a time when there were already two big wagons on town in order to distance. nsg is not someone who can open wolf convincingly, I think she would've felt especially awkward hopping onto a town wagon at this time

if you actually look at the context surrounding the wagons at the time, there is pretty strong momentum on me and Gamma already. scum doesn't need to tip the scales.

542is exactly the type of post scum tends to make when they know a wagon is going to flip town and want plausible deniability / town cred for it. she makes the same soft defense of gamma in 546. like she wants to encourage the wagons on us but doesn't actually want to stick out her neck and hard defend.

And I definitely think town getting annoyed with kitten is possible, but I think in that case there would still be some attempt to understand kitten's motivations or try break through to her, especially if Junko really thought scum was between me and kitten

but that's not really the case. Junko's pivot and push seems more designed to make kitten look bad and because Junko knows that's going to be an easy elimination to get. I don't get the sense Junko actually cares about my alignment nor kittens
