This is pretty odd. I can't really see a pro-town, pro-mafia, or pro-mime reason for Kise's play so far.

Actually, I didn't do it for RVS reasons. kyle and mylyne are town based on their reactions. I'm not liking how Scorp' reacted to me because he was in the previous installment of Open 191 so he should be able to easily identify whether I was using mime-play or not.

I guess it comes down to whether we want to win as town exclusively or if we don't mind sharing the win with the mimes as to whether or not we lynch them. It seems best to just ignore the mimes and try to lynch and vig the goons because if both goons are gone we win it seems, we just have to share the win with the mimes. A win is a win as far as I'm concerned.

Weren't you just trying to vig me because I'm mime? So, subconsciously, if you think I'm mime and you also don't mind sharing a win, then why not think the mime's will lose after I'm vigged?

Me thinks Rhinox is throwing in the towel too early if town, or subconsciously making a mime-slip. Directing the vig away from you isn't cute neither, kupo.

Well for one thing, he was still voting Rhinox when he intended to vote for me so I still get 'newcomer' vibes from him. After reading the events, it appears as though he's catching on to the assumption I'm a mime and then he realized if I'm mime then I win when lynched -- That's how I view his startling revelation. He also hasn't posted enough for me to settle in my opinion of him, but I'm seriously not thinking non-town at this point.

Went back and read the role PM's.... Taken at face value, mimes can't win exclusively. If they both get lynched, they are removed as threats to the town. So, even if the mimes get lynched and fulfil their win condition, we can still fulfil the town win condition by lynching or vigging the goons. At least, if I'm understanding the win conditions correctly.

Mimes have every incentive to lynch goons. By removing goons, they eliminate 1 threat of being nked and losing. If they manage to kill/block both goons and the vig, nothing can stop them from achieving their win condition. So theres more to it than just playing like jesters and trying to get lynched.

But on second thought, I think directing the vig has an advantage. The watcher can see him do his work and in turn can confirm who the vig is. If mafia is ballsy enough to target the same player at night, then that creates a stand-off for down the road. But having a public stand-off with the mime faction alive only lets them know who they should roleblock. Still, vig-directing is a good way for the watcher to confirm him.

Right now, Gert is chilling in the cut too much with questions & info. Scorp still rubs me the wrong way since he knows more about these roles due to being in the previous attempt of 191. Reck knows me well, but it's our companionship that cost him day-night mafia when I was scum so he shouldn't always trust me. You guys already know my stance on kyle, mylyn, and Mimox. Cat needs to get busy. xofelf says "um" a lot. Flinter is too nice and I almost want to bring her a basket of chocolate chip cookies. I actually wouldn't mind being vigged as long as a goon or mime is lynched today. If a townie is mislynched, then don't bother with me (give me time to come up with a vig-suggestion). However, if a mime is lynched, then just vig me to end the speculation. Also, I say that if a goon is lynched then town is not going to miss me much and the watcher can still confirm who the vig is that targeted me.

I will come up with a vig-target before deadline. I'm thinking Rhinox would do, but I need to re-read him and confirm my thoughts.

Actually I think a more appropriate idea is (if both vig and watcher live) is for everyone, as soon as day 2 starts, to say a player's name they trust. Just one player. So, later on, if the watcher dies first, then he would have breadcrumbed who the vig is.
