I'll just open this can of worms: Since this is a new, never-before-played setup, is theory and strategy discussion here bad/good, scummy/townish, null/void?
I see opinions, then we may or may not pontificate upon Theory.-

Like who shoots who and stuff.
Won't people who know they will be shot just commute?
I guess it could still be worth doing because on Night 2 we'd know who has commuted/who hasn't. Honestly though, I'm tempted to just say everyone do whatever they like and we'll see what happens. I'll think about it a bit more later.
This could be a useful plan....
This just feels like a setup that could be engineered by town to secure a win.
I'm not the one to engineer it, though. (I don't get mafia strategy. I'm just here to have fun.)-

Okay, so we should just play Day like normal, and do whatever we feel is best at night?-

There's a thing, that is a thing, that's really obvious to me. It virtually guarantees a town win (or, possibly, a draw. I haven't quite taken the maths to the logical extreme).
Am I the only one seeing it?-

So, I post a question; an hour and a half later, Kats posts about something else and totally ignores my question.
My question is about potentially guaranteeing a town win.
Not even addressed.
I see how it is.-

Milk got it.
Scum cannot win as long as a living townperson still has a vig shot.
Now we just have to figure out who's town enough to not use their vig shotandlive till endgame.-

I haven't discussed night theory because I suck at strategy. I can follow along, if it's explained slowly and carefully, but devise a strategy? It would be the equivalent of me growing a horn and becoming a unicorn.-

A veiled threat if I ever heard one.

I'm saving myself. You guys do realize our vig shot is only once per game, yes?
