Because the E has be "lol" quality lately. Also I pretty much only watch the main PPVs (Rumble, WM)
Heads up, I work now with no access to the comp during those times. This is kinda a test game to see how active I can be and if I can juggle mafia with work. Pretty sure I can, but just don't expect me to be around at the drop of the hat during the days any more.
It has been noted that no one wants to start a bandwagon. I'm trying to decide just how much I hate that.-

Why do you think my two townreads are invalid, but that everyone should give reads on everyone else in the game? If I can't have townreads yet, then how could we complete this task?
I don't think they're invalid.
I had just asked why they were your town reads.
And I see how that would be anti town, didn't think of it that way.
Why do you think Amrun should explain page two town reads? How deep do you actually expect them to be?-

I don't know how long this is going to last but it's most likely caused by the strain I've put on my eyes being on the computer more than I sleep. Plus I already have horrible vision and have been wearing the wrong prescription glasses. All bad. I am getting a bad feeling about Amrun from what I could read. It just strikes me as odd that she forgot about the game when she was confirmed and a mass game start pm was sent out with a link iirc.
What benefit does hypo ScumAmrun get from lurking this early in the game?

Sorry!
Hyposcum whoever means hypothetically if so and so was scum. So I was asking Glow that how exactly did Amrun gain an advantage if she lurked as scum in the very early game. A question she couldn't really answer either. Not really sure that's a scum tell on her though. Also a mass pm was sent, but with no link.
Glow, what's your opinion on posts 5 and 7?-

I don't think I like this game much.
hero, I'm not sure why you are so defensive in 130 and your protection of hoops is kinda strange. His vote on you is a poor reaction to an RVS vote and to write it off as a null tell is leaping to conclusions. Reasoning that he is just a new player is one way to look at it I guess, but it's justsodismissive.
I'll read some more tomorrow when I'm not half a sleep.-

This seems reasonable, but I'm not sure I buy it because you never followed up on it until you were pressed to explain yourself. I also find your case on Elmo hyprocritical because you've admitted that you yourself haven't been into the game and providing content. Besides your case on Elmo, you've just been posting excuses and defending yourself.
I think you're scum.
This seems reasonable BUT here's a list of reasons why you'rescummy anyway.Come on man, really?
Defending yourself isn't scummy, please elaborate why you think it is in this situation. You said he had a case, isn't that more than others have been doing? Why so fixated on hoops for being "guilty" of this?
Vote: split
The "I think your scum" part pushed me over the edge. Just ugh... So fake.-

Just that I wasn't getting into it much and it kinda sucked. But I'm warming to it now, things be picking up.
In post 179, splitfarvle wrote:It does seem reasonable, but I don't believe it because he did follow up on it. In his case on Elmo, he is accusing him of doing things that he himself are doing. I didn't say defending himself is scummy, but that's the majority of his posts.
Frankly, it's all explained right there in the post you quoted.
Yeah, this doesn't gel. If it is reasonable then it that means there is some truth to it somewhere right? Otherwise, where does the "reasonable" part come in? It's like you put that out there first as if to soften the blow of "I think you're scum." Townies don't often want to soften the blow to people they strongly believe are scum. They want them toYou're fueling the wagon with this post, while trying to look like you aren't fueling the wagon. Basically I think you are candy coating your response and it's scummy.diescumdie.
In post 192, Sotty7 wrote:Are we running Elmo up for being lazy?
After reading, I'm reminded that Elmo hasn't been lazy in this game. So what's the deal here?
hoops is kinda hard to figure out. He is handling the pressure on him like a champ but I disagree with a lot of his stances. He seems to be very much a "mafia by the numbers" type player. His tone is overly serious and down to business that is often read as scummy and for some players it can be a valid scum tell. But this could just be the way he is. I'd like more time to unwrap this enigma.
Amrun, why are you being weird in this game?-

Okay I didn't really get your Elmo vote, but I guess that is fair enough.-

I actually like hero now. His rush of posting feels very much like a new player getting his feet wet and it's all very open and fresh that it reads town for me.
In post 244, Chrimi wrote:We're talking about how hero is posting on this page and it is totally newb town.

I wouldn't be against a hoops lynch at this point. Let him post again before there is a hammer though. Elmo shouldn't be lynched at this stage.-

This is a junk point. You're pretty much all newbs apart from Amrum and myself (and maybe Elmo) Amrun's explanation about her reaction to the flip in this game and how her reads have migrated is extremely town to me. Mostly because she is describing exactly what went though my head.

When I said stop talking about the night kill, I meant the future night kill. Chrimi said I would be the night kill tonight or something like that. That's dangerous speculation to have in thread.
Scott's entrance was actually pretty good. He needs to place a vote though.-

My counter point is that you just told me that buddying his a town trait of Chrimi's. So if you put your hurt feelings to one side maybe it's not as scummy as you want it to be?
Also I asked Chrimi for links, but you can provide them as well. Games of you two playing together if you would. Thanks.-

Shaking the rust off in this one. Still it was relatively fun to play despite the drama.
Chrimi, we can still be BFF's? You played well, I'm impressed. Why did you guys kill me? I don't think I would have lynched you. Gunny probably, but you? Nah. Mafia QT would be nice.
Amrun you're always town when we play. I like that. Don't ever change.
As for the modding, yeah it wasn't great but none of it was game breaking. All of it combined left a bad taste in my mouth though. Here is some feedback, take it or leave it.
- The no lynch was poor in my mind. If you are going to be that strict on your deadline you should make that very clear in your rule set. You didn't as a result, I was pissed.
- Never let inactive players go though the night without being replaced. Delay day opening if you have to, the players in the game will understand (most anyway) It saves potential game breaking, or just players pondering about others alignment based on mod actions or inaction. Neither is a good thing.
- I don't know all the details around the amrun situation, but I hope force replacement wasn't the first reaction you had. Just because a player doesn't agree with whatever decision you made doesn't give you the right to dismiss them from the game in that manner. PMs are invaluable here, if you don't want to discuss a ruling you made, make that clear and most players will drop it until end game or replace out themselves.
All in all I think everyone can learn a little something from this game. Thanks guys, wasn't the best return but it could have been way worse.
