jumping on the wagon at 3 looks worse than at 2? though at 4 looks even sillier.

This happened to me in that last game and I went into a bit of a meltdown.

Is it just me or are a lot of people keen to point out town reads this early in the game? Can't see how one or two posts can make you so confident. smacks of trying to appear town to me

So does that make everyone doing it scum or what?
well I wouldn't go that far (3 pages in remember) but it certainly makes me want to keep an eye on them

DoG, you seem incredibly keen to lead the charge on everyone. this your usual style?

as for Hawk, yeah I always get a bit nervous when someone agrees with me so readily. but that's probably just paranoia kicking in.

Mala is going to be hard to read in this game. She does seem to be very buddy with everyone and could use that to her advantage if she was scum. Only person in here I've played a game with and thought she was good.

Atm, I'm more inclined to cast suspicion on those not posting than those who are. Town have more of a reason to get talking early, and from my limited mafia experience day one lynch is usually wrong and usually results from two town fighting with each other.

@Boro, if you're casting suspicion on those not talking, why if your vote on dryfit, who is just in the top half of posts made?
Because I'd like to hear more from them before I start voting for them. Dryfit is still the best vote based on actual content

Dry is the easiest place to stick a vote as a newcomer but if he's the best place for that vote, then so be it.

I didn't like the vote on Dry. Felt off, I didn't like the prior slot.

I'm also seeing a difference in Bro. Watch out for him please.
The prior slot seemed a bit of a wildcard, a bit like slimer tbh. So I didn't read too much into that.

Do you not think your original vote was any good now? Or would you prefer to be there if others got on board?

In post 164, dragonfly wrote:Dry-fit, why did you attribute Broseidon's reasoning across your whole wagon?
I was thinking the same. Dry has also been spraying his votes about since, possibly hoping for something to stick (he's voted for 4 different people)

DoG has done this as well, moreso. 6 votes for 6 different people. I know he said this is his kind of approach but there is being an attack dog and there is spraying votes about while trying to look town. I'd like to see more pressure on him, but I still have a scum feeling about Dry so I'm happy with my vote for the moment.

Having said that, there is a lot to like about the commando wagon as well. Five posts, one vote. Been v/la and is now back, any closer to some analysis?

I'm half of a hydra of Nacho and Mantisdreamz. We played that newbie game together, surprise.

Still like Dry for scum, although I don't really see anything from his ISO that would indicate a scumpartner. Scum partner in Dry scum case would not be Guille or mvmafia and probs on dragonfly.

@Dry can you give a full list of reads?

Mvmafia's entrance was not good. Not enough from the slot to try to discern potential scumpartners, beyond a probable not-mala (who is already a townread for me)

Mort is erratic as fuck, but I don't think he's scum. On the off-chance I'm wrong, I'm still confident that he's not partners with dragonfly, mvmafia, mala, or dry.

@Boro can you provide your own reads at some point? You seem keen to ask questions about things, but you aren't providing any analysis of your own. Would like to see more insight from you.

@Commando do you really have no reads on anyone at this point? Yes, there is plenty of information out there at this point, try to discern what is scum-motivated and what is town-motivated.

@Mala I haven't played with Mantis before and have no way of telling apart his style. Is sort of a problem.
scum reads at 166. I don't like giving out town badges on day one because they are usually wrong. I find anyone handing them out pretty suspicious this early tbh though it seems to be the norm in this game. and hydra or not, I've still got my eye on you.

guille - why are you so sure Dryfit is town?

dragonfly has responded oddly to both mala and myself now. and anyone suggesting that someone would be protecting their scum partner is surely barking up the wrong tree, you can imagine scum trying to save buddies when they have one team but with 2x 2 scum it would be pretty much impossible to save your buddy without bringing attention to yourself.

Dryfit still the pick for me. Possibly dragonfly as 2nd best but quite far behind

Care to elaborate?

@mvmafia: Any opinions on the other players in this game?
You jumped on a wagon early on and you've spent the rest of the day going 'what, why was that so scummy?'

I can't see that you've done anything to hunt for scum and you've basically relied on the hope that everyone thought your early vote was random.

So you're just choosing one of the people that haven't really scumhunted. (which btw is practically everyone) and calling them scum on it?

mvmafia has really done nothing.
He like mala, votes another wagon, misunderstanding the context of the post. He too tries to justify it later but when asked for more clarification the scum intent on Dry's part he refuses to answer.

And he is trying to tie Mala and Dry together based on Dry's potential flip as if he knows that Dry will flip scum and make it easier to go after Mala.
