The thing is, I just don't have much to say right now. To answer another question, I have found the level of scumhunting and the accuracy of said scumhunting on the first day to be fairly poor; night actions certainly help, whether it be a lynch, protect, investigation, etc.

My "why me defense" was merely an observation that you came after me for "not participating" when there are other players that I think are participating less than me. No, we probably won't catch scum on Page 3. We might make a lynch that turns out to be a scumflip, but I find it unlikely that scum would slip up so early.

Finally, yes, night needs to happen. The game cannot progress unless night happens. If someone dies during the night, whether it is town or scum or both, a death brings everyone closer to their win condition, and therefore is necessary. We should avoid mislynches to be sure, but we cannot stop Batman the night.

It's a very shifty scum maneuver. When player A makes several points in a case against you, you strongly refute one in attempt to discredit the entire case with it. It derails suspicion and that one bad point, when attacked, causes doubt to form against the entire case.
