After my fantasy football draft tonight I'll give a quick readover, but will have some V/LA since I have people visiting this long weekend. When I get back to work this week I'll be able to play at a normal pace.

Got to page 16 and got tired

All I got was Anatole is town, and gameplay is town, because I've seen/been in town to town.

And I didn't see until the end that it was ZZZX who replaced Anatole.

That leaves me to find who was primarily responsible for getting ZZZX killed. Can anyone shed some light on it so I don't have to read another 16 pages and I can participate?

Siv and Anninem come off as scummy during the first half of the game as well

Work is coming to the end of the fiscal year, so it's been hard to play mafia in general, but here's what I got from a power read through (i.e. confirmation biased skim).

Page 18, where Aneninen and pretty much Regfan, decided to claim the Elmo and ZZZX slots.

To me that was a very pro-scum move, because the backup is easily WIFOMable if you're a vanilla goon in PYP, and of course knowing who has a role cop is very beneficial to scum, because a town role cop can fish out all fake claims. For that already I don't like either Aneninen or Regfan. I also have a way of gut-reading scum by observing posting style, but it will take some meta reading to work it out. For now, my gut of Aneninen is scum.

While I thought gameplay was town just by reading gut, I gladly would not trust him in any kind of xYLO situation. His slot needs to die either way, preferably before a LYLO.

Sala slot is incredibly town just by seeing his reactions to the end of Day 1 and his anger of replacing out (muffinman now).

Saki is town for that same reason.

heph is incredibly scummy to me right now; I've seen vanilla town heph and it's nowhere near as -derpy- as it played out.

Those are my observations up to now, if I didn't mention anyone else it means they don't stand out to me.

I don't know the offical VC (mod has been flaking on that), but I'd say there's at least 1 scum in Anninen Regfan and Heph, and I'd like to lynch from that pool at this point. No on Muffin and Saki and gameplay.

I have a gut town read of you (the same way that I read Anatole when I play with him) because you sound a LOT like me when I play (look at my meta) and I end up dying because of it.

I'd really hope we win the game before crossing the bridge of "would you take gameplay in a xYLO situation"

I find it odd you'd use this to defend Regfan. I'm just trying to see your line of reasoning to give Regfan a town read.

Flubber, it's not fluff I was trying to get. I'm trying to explain why I think Anatole had no business being lynched. That being said, it is indeed the case I am working off of; to me I saw no reason to lunch that ZZZX slot, and it was a convenient lunch. Role picking, while it CAN flop between alignments, is a worthwhile thing to use to hint in pick your power.

And good news is that I think you have townie reasoning going on there, as in it didn't look like a manufactured answer. Have a town card.

Regfan, regarding your post at the bottom of the previous page, I'm reading who I think can be scum. I have you and Anninem and Hephaestus, all for various reasons. And as I disclaimed to gameplay, I see him as a bro (because I get his frustrations as being a large volume poster with 0 participation otherwise) and I've confirmation biased him as town, but that doesn't mean I think he wouldn't be worthy of a vig shot if one exists in case any of Reg/An/heph is wrong, and I let scum gameplay have a win over town Anatole.

Anninem, so because I didn't vote Heph, it means I am scum? The logic in your eyes is, that because I'm not putting my vote on my scummiest read, that I'm lying about something, and thus we enter LAL (which I saw someone write in this game a while back)

I think heph is scummy, as much as you and Regfan. If you read my meta, I'm willing to spread votes on all my scum reads to get reactions. It's one basic way of hunting, to spread suspicions amongst all your reads. The whole shake a tree theory.

Sal was completely angry at the end of Day 1 and replaced out at town incompetence. To me that's the most likely story. I find that Anatole likely did the same thing.

As far as my bromance with the Anatole slot, it's because I respect him as a player.

And I do not have much in terms of more than the town reads in 30ish pages as you point out, not much I can do there. I've started gaining more as I've been in the game, which is all I can do at this point to help.

The main reason I find it odd is that I've been in the game for only really a dozen or so posts (and take into account I post a lot by not compacting everything into single posts), so I'm wondering what you see here in me or my slot which wants you to get the town looking at me.

I wasn't here for Day 1, the ship has sailed.

I can use the fact that he flipped town as evidence that he should not have been lynched but that's not going to mean much.

I don't like Venrob's play (as his vote on Anatole was really insufficiently used; all he did was say 'tis logical, unless I missed other stuff, but I'm too lazy to really care at the moment again). That's already one strike against the Regfan spot.

Second is Regfan you also were a driving force of getting ZZZX lynched for claiming role cop. I'm still in the mind that Role Cop can be a very good pro-town role, and I think it was fished out, with very poor reasoning.

And the rest is just gut reading, about how I can see from a scum perspective, the manner of tone in which you write.

With both you and Aninem pointing at heph, I do feel like a possible bus is occurring. I know that Aninem is saying that I am a heph partner, which seems like an intentional setup, problem is that the town is winning (we survived one NK) so if that's how scum "want to do it", i.e. trade heph for me, scum is playing a losing game.

Then again, if heph really is town (and is just a VI, which can explain things about his meta), then it'd be a waste.

Also the fact that gameplay is calling himself a VI now confirms he's hiding behind his bad play to say he's not scum especially since he's told Anatole to kill himself for calling him an VI earlier, but now that he sees people are assuming he's town because of it he's intentionally exaggerating it and making himself "unreadable"

nope, my slot went for Neighbor but missed.

So I was right about the heph lynch, that'll help in scum hunting more games in the future, not sure I even read the others. I don't know who followed what slot because the Mod didn't update anything in the original player list.
