You had a pretty good idea he was lying and you were still defending him as obvtown for it.
He even admitted to fakeclaiming because he saw reinoe do it somewhere!

So why go for town swag instead of 'wouldn't mind lynching' LR?

And that doesn't answer the question.

Okay. Even if you were holding onto that 1% chance of swag being mason even after he said he was lying, the other 99% of your defense of swag is on the basis that he is not mason but lying TOWN.
So why swag and not LR?

I'm not trying to convince you on LR here.

I'm wondering why, instead of joining us in our conversation on masons to maybe comment that you didn't find it obvious that Picard was mason, you're just moving on to the next vote as if to sweep it under the rug.

I'm wondering why that next leap vote is on a person you had as town enough to say that you would NOT lynch them, who you hard defended as town even when you knew that it wasn't likely that he was mason and was just lying town...

Instead of the next viable wagon on someone who you have said that you would have no problem lynching. And are continuing to avoid even now. I could have seen the avoidance as maybe not wanting to put someone at L1 right now...

But the fact that you just keep piling votes looks as if you're just hoping something will stick. Like you knew the swag vote would appeal to Titus. It feels like you're forcing a lynch right now despite the fact that I've already said that no one should be considering a lynch right now until we at least know if we're getting an extension to wait for Picard's replacement for confirmation.

LR, Kaboose, ...

And I have honestly sat here for 15 minutes switching the last slot between

Mala/davesaz/Grib

If it's a team situation for adding the three, I would put Mala.
If it's a best shot at taking a risk while we still can based on gut, I'd put Grib.
If it's a active lurking while softpushing but never really doing anything, it's davesaz.

I got to the coffee part last night but procrastinated against the reading.
But I will do it tonight/morning. Even if it only gives me a better feel between the last few because I'm going to do the best I can with the extra time we got.

Procrastinating re-reading the thread because it's a daunting task is not equal to active lurking throughout the game.

This is me redoing something that I've actually already done and have been here for in the doing, as opposed to throwing out softpushes every which way with no backing but then weirdly being here when something does come up, only to say some trite thing again before proceeding back into an absence again.

So. I'm starting to think that, while I might have been being part stubborn and part blind to it, that Cheetory was right in thinking the confirmation thing was probably affecting how I was reading people, even if only inadvertently.

Don't think it was mason fishing.

He wasn't under pressure.

Do you somehow know it would have been a mislynch? If not, then why think that he did?

There's no argument here that I don't think his play at fakeclaiming was in any way a good thing but why he did it was from town pov.

If he were scum that you actually think was under pressure and had just fucked up royally, then you probably shouldn't discount that he'd just resort to his meta of claiming scum.

He is town.

Nope, never wondered why I wasn't dead.

Nope, he's saying that it's a 'sketchy accusation of him rolefishing that feels like a stretch." Which I happen to agree with.

He's open to the possibility of scum and he doesn't think that is even is scum!

And just because I'm not lynching swag does not = not open to the possibility of lynching scum.

WHEN I DON'T THINK HE IS SCUM.

I think most of the town playerlist is thinking that swag's play is town. It's not optimal town, it's not obvtown, it's often anti-town and even detrimental town.
But it's town.
He will not be lynched.
Not today.
Not tomorrow.
Not happening.
So yes, if by chance he does end up being scum, it's a loss. Oh well.
And it's 'Oh well' because I think there's just as much chance that it's a loss if we lynch him now and he flips town.
Today's lynch is pretty pivotal to our win chances.
And I'm not sure on exactly who town is, but I think we're pretty divided atm.
We need a flip that will answer a LOT of questions and one that has a higher probability of actually getting a scum flip.
swag is not that lynch.
I will not focus on explaining this to you because it's a waste of time.
I will however focus on what I think will give us those answers.
So I will continue my reread now.

Then you might want to start towning it up a bit. Because there's pushes for you as deadline lynch/compromise lynch/scum lynch.

And if you're town, we really can't afford a mislynch right now because of stupid reasons.

I have the same problem but that's also why this is a solution to that problem.

During my reread, I remembered a lot of the reasons that LR had pinged me as town to make me unvote and offer her the white flag in the first place. And it only got better from there.
I was reading a lot of the stuff she wrote with a bias.
Her Kaboose case, for example.
It's pretty legit.
But I couldn't see that at the time because all I was seeing was that she was just trying to associate Kaboose with me - and the way I read it because of that had me writing it off as bullshit.

I'll get to why Kaboose is scum later when I've had some time to process but that
is
one of the reasons that I want to see Kaboose lynched - Because they are damn sure not scum together.

And Kaboose is one of your top three scumreads and LR isn't, right? So no issue.

Again, more on this later.

Townlean - Green Crayons, Mala (my opinion is mostly based on awesomeusername's posts)

Scumlean - Kaboose, Riddle

My reads are not set in stone by any means, they are primarily judged by everyone's interactions with each other.

I plan to re-read all of the posts soon with a better eye for detail, in order to improve my reads.

I know this sounds dumb, but this is the post I liked from CptPicard. ;-; The fact his join date was so new and that he was being engaged and he was fully cooperative made me lean town on this slot. So him having this potential that i liked in the beginning and then randomly faking made me sad.

WORK WITH US THEN

I WAS.
I was working on:

174 Kaboose reaction to swag towning up, the amount of suggestion in this post is ridiculous
200 Scum worry about trimming, unnecessarily defensive, defending riddle
210 - Cheetory explains crap reasoning on Kaboose part to push mason fishing
323 Kaboose downplaying his ability so the push on me doesn't come off as strong
scumreads dave but doesn't vote him, though expresses a willingness to vote him if swag does?
327 - Kaboose and dave probably not team, Kaboose pushes dave as 'only way your style works is as scum'
335 - Cheetory asks me what I think of Kaboose's softpush on me in 333. Kaboose responds here with 'yeah, what did you think of the post of hers i quoted, its weird right' ie, another soft push
339-340 weird interaction between kaboose/grib
343 - my response, Kaboose regurgitating davesaz' read on me from 316
356 Kaboose defends his regurgitation because he went further with it by saying it was 'weird'?
447 - defends LR, calls cheetory out as stirring up shit
466 - Cheetory point on Kaboose
467 LR - good read on Kaboose
472 LR case on Kaboose, nice points
482 kaboose appeasing
529 - another softpush from Kaboose on me - how many pushes does it take to get to the center of a scum tactic
585 - weird ass vote
558 - davesaz questioning Kaboose's vote
589 - defensive, definitely not to start a lynch wagon!
598 - Cheetory on dave active lurking, response to vote
633 - I like Cheetory's read here and him wanting to go back with suspicions on Grib/Kaboose
726 - One of NJAC's lasts posts has Grib and Kaboose as scum
768 - Calls LR out for being scummy but says he was planning on getting to the fact that LR is 'too all over the place to be scum' so he was planning on giving her this read before even attempting to actually read her
781 - Painting something as scum when it's just as likely to be mason
788 Opportunistic as ever Kaboose comes in just to question swag on forgetting masons
812 - NJAC's last words, keep an eye on Kaboose/Grib
821 - Swag wondering if scum purposefully moved the wagon off elle to Njac, 'all fingers point to Kaboose'
