No trust is needed. My reads speak for themself. If you think they are right, then that's great. (This currently seems to be the case.) I don't need to do anything more. If you think they are wrong, then I'll continue to push harder. (I have not seen this.) I'll either be proven right or proven wrong. My alignment isn't really relevant, though, given with this playerlist I'm a near-guaranteed nightkill.

What you saw was my play during what was without question the worst year of my life. In brief, it started out with a family member stealing a very large amount of cash from me, followed by 6 people dying suddenly in as many weeks, starting with my daughter-in-law's pneumonia and ending with a long-time family friend's suicide. During that time, my son and I both picked up MRSA infections, I recovered quickly, he nearly died. After that came the gangbanger armed robbery.

I have finally overcome the worst of the depression and am beginning to rebuild my life. My play may seem like what you've seen before, but fortunately I am no longer that soulcrushed person. My meta has shifted.

It is, in fact, legal, players' posts in all games appear in their profile page ISOs. (However Mason, Neighborhood, Cult, and Scum PTs do not show up until the game is over. Hydra PTs never show up.) Anyway, as long as a player is in the game, I have no way of knowing their alignment, do I?

I am not. But to answer why: I recognize Klingoncelt usually votes players she does not know, but the

she voted in 9 felt like it was an overjustification. It's also a lie to say she always does. (Not to mention, in 167, she says she doesn't know most of the players, so why did her wording imply GoodNightMsGreen was the only one she didn't know?) 76 felt fake. In 111, she also doesn't give any commentary on any of the other players on my list. She's not scumhunting at this point, when she should be if she's town. 112 is avoiding taking a firm stance on Creature. In 113, she sheeps the easy-to-follow opinion stated by Nahdia, when with her previous experience with me, she should know I do this every game. (See also: why I'm so ticked off at you. Except you're town, whereas she's not.) Her lack of content was pointed out by Willowmeadow (one of the reasons I townread Willow in the first place, actually), but her excuse in 165 was "I don't play strong early-on". This does not match my experience with Klingoncelt. Maybe her reads aren't accurate, but bluntly they're rarely above average, neither better nor worse than any run-of-the-mill player. Yet she has always gotten them all the same, even D1. So, she

should

be obviously town, but isn't.

Her reasoning for her play having shifted doesn't work for me, either. I fully believe she's a different player now that she's recovered from the trauma...but the things sticking out like a sore thumb have nothing to do with anything I can see having been attributed to trauma in the first place. I can see things such as, say, a lack of emotional outburst as being relevant meta shifts from this. But my problems with her come from things that should be identical: no obvtowning, no strong reads, nothing.

271 fits with past experience of Klingoncelt's scumgame as how she gives reads. And, for people who keep criticizing

for a lack of reasons, they seem to conveniently have forgotten Klingoncelt also did this. The difference is: I always give no reasons. Klingoncelt gives reasons as town but often doesn't when scum.

Then, we enter into the Nahdia debate, where, again, Nahdia is completely correct: Klingoncelt is lying about her, and every attempt to justify the lie is simply restating the same (wrong) fact over and over again, in different wording, whereas Nahdia continues to build up the case against her using new points and new angles, which Klingoncelt continues to brush off with the same exact defense.

His case against Ranger because of her readlists is inaccurate, but he hasn't played with her before so it's understandable (I was suspicious of her for doing it the first time I played with her, too). The rest of his arguments in 243, 559 and 561 are very good and obviously not faked.

But you have me as Scumlean because

She tripped on the Nahdia meta read, then her whole side of that argument was defensive and awkward. 346 is pretty bad too (remember my previous point about ridiculous confidence).

A serial killer means we have an odd number of Ts:
T, TTT, TTTTT, or TTTTTTT.
In an all-T setup, we'd have nothing but VTs. We know this is not the case.
In a five-T setup, we'd have a serial killer, two mafia (I believe 2 goons, need to double-check; could be Goon+Godfather, but this is irrelevant anyway), and then two letters, in this case, V for 1-shot vigilante, and C for 1-shot cop. However, this does not offer an explanation for why there has been a missing kill each night, and if you're a full cop you know this can't be possible anyway.
In a one-T setup, we'd have a much stronger scumteam, but we'd also have more power roles than I think we have. It's not impossible, but it's improbable.
Therefore, the most likely setup is three Ts: Mafia Goon x2, Mafia Roleblocker, Serial Killer, full cop, 1x vig, and either a doctor or a roleblocker, because these are the only two roles that explain missing kills. (CCC would be possible, but leaves the kill problem. M is impossible, because an IC would be announced at game start. VVV is impossible because that takes us to even numbers; MM is impossible because that

also

takes us to even numbers, so no full-vig, and no masons.)

I'm going to take your word for it. I'm terrible at figuring out these C-9 setups. I should play more of them, maybe I'll learn how.

Also I would really like to know right now what on earth Klingon saw that made Ranger null, that whole flip seems really forced and unnatural to me. As town you have no reason to withhold such information, especially since Ranger is now dead.

Also you know what looks really dodgy and convinces me that one of Nahdia/Kling are scum? ... Zefiend ignores a large part of the game yet he takes care to say he thinks the interaction between the two is null. This could be a really strong indicator of him trying to help out a partner...

I thought of another interesting theory and I just checked on it, and I think it works out. Let me know your opinions. It is more of a statistical theory so can't be held at 100% concrete, but since there are likely 3 mafia, if you were to randomly break up the players into 3 groups, one player from each group would be mafia. What I thought might be interesting was to check the order in which players started posting. Logistically you could say that out of the first third players to post, one is mafia, one out of the second third to post, one is mafia, and one of the last third players to vote is mafia.

First third to post:
Creature, Nahdia, Masquerade, Klingoncelt

Second third to post:
TheSoldier, Ranger, Zefiend, GoodNightMsGreen

Last third to post:
Acryon, KainTepes, WillowMeadow, Reubus Swagrid

This fits the theory of either Nahdia or Klingoncelt being mafia, we already know that Zefiend was mafia, and that leaves either Acryon or (now Channel) as mafia, but I think it was apparent to most of as that KT/Chanell is town.
