Yay, congrats us.

Yeah, a jailkeep prevents any actions done by or against a player. (Although I just looked at the wiki page and it calls that a variant.). It's how I've seen jail keeps work mostly, but I guess either can be used.

Thanks for modding bbt, it was fun playing with all of you!

So glad I died as I expected to deal with what nether did after pasch flipped rolecop. Funny thing is I had a good scum read on him but also thought he was roled...I didn't think of scum roled :/

Well done on the modding! I especially liked the easy to read vote counts, and plan to use them as a template when my modding slot comes up in a few months.

I have seen both variations of JK, either prevents any actions or only protecting. When the question came up I looked at the sample role PM for the game -- when in doubt, interpret the role as being exactly what the role PM says.

I think we got really lucky that the vig shot hit scum. If that hadn't happened, the associations would have been a lot fuzzier.

Nah ignore me I have this in my mindset that JK blocks all actions, but I'm wrong myself.
No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

According to role pm, jailing is strictly a rb and a doc, so it's correct.

Lovely modding BBT, sorry about the prods

Well it seems that most of my scum reads were wrong in this game. I've at least correctly read TSO until bulba made me disappointed by his tunneling and I stopped fighting.

I'd like to thank BBT for the awesome modding and aquanim & tempest for being the pleasant persons to play with.

And still, bulba, your tunneling is worse than wisdom. That was the most disappointing thing in this game.

I was so busy at the time with work that I couldn't even get started properly in this game.

@Nether: I got paranoid, and I felt that your play was lackluster and alignment indicative.

@TSO: You need to learn to just bus your PRs. That's what almost got you killed in Marvel.
Bulbazak is so town that everytime someone votes him Mastin coughs blood.

Yeah. It wasn't so much that I wouldn't bus, it was that I didn't have time to organically do it.

Also, in this set-up, bussing PR's is death.

(unless you can do it really well, which still requires time)

You should just blame me for the mislynch, tbh. I realized that Bulba's case was bad in yet I couldn't elaborate on why.

I don't know who else I would have lynched, though. TSO sounded so town to anyone outside of the Aquanim/TSO fight. I'm not sure I would have thrown him out there.

I was on TSO but couldn't get past the wall of meta townreads on him.

Sometimes meta is useful, but not many people know how to actually use meta properly, and I'm not sure anyone in this game does (no offense).

And if someone's meta is that they don't actually scum hunt but just deflects and discredits anyone trying to solve the game, lynch that person on policy..don't baby them by letting them coast on bad meta.

But, I'm in the minority for being a fan of policy lynching people for anti-town play and not coddling them.

Just because someone got handed a town role PM doesn't mean they're playing to town wincon. Not thinking of anyone in this game or even on this site, but I've encountered one or two players whose mislynches (when they were town) seemed to improve town's odds of victory.

Thanks. Don't worry about it too much, I've had worse. I can't imagine I was the soul of diplomacy and courtesy at all points, either.
